| Animation diplomacy is an important means for Japan to carry out cultural diplomacy.It aims to cultivate the "Japanese animation loving generation" worldwide,so as to promote foreign people,especially foreign teenagers,to form interest,favorable impression and identification of Japanese culture,so as to promote the restoration of Japan’s postwar "normal power" identity and rebuild Japan’s national image.Japan’s animation diplomacy with China is an important part of Japan’s animation diplomacy.Under the framework of the Japanese government’s overall foreign cultural diplomacy strategy of "Cool Japan",the Japanese government has led the formulation of a series of laws and regulations supporting the development of the animation industry,and jointly promoted the animation diplomacy with China by the non-governmental forces and various departments,forming the promotion mechanism in China centered on animation exhibitions and the communication mechanism centered on Internet celebrity animation lovers.It has promoted the development of Japan’s animation diplomacy with China.However,as a cultural product,Japanese animation highlights Japanese cultural symbols,spreads Japanese cultural values,and even hides the extreme tendency of Japanese centrism.Through the interview,it is found that although Chinese teenagers can objectively and rationally view Sino-Japanese relations and major historical issues,Japanese anime and its cultural nationalist elements still exert a wide influence on Chinese teenagers,changing their first impression of Japan and,to some extent,their cognition of the national image of Japan.The young people can not fully recognize and understand the hidden tendency of Japanocentrism in Japanese animation.In the face of the situation that Japanese animation diplomacy has been deeply cultivated in China for many years and has a significant influence,China may promote the development of Chinese comics from the perspective of enhancing the soft power of Chinese culture,enhance its appeal among Chinese youth and strengthen its cultural confidence.At the same time,attention should be paid to the history education and patriotism education concept of young people,and media literacy and critical analysis ability of foreign cultural products should be improved. |
