| Under the background of the deepening of the aging degree,improving the life satisfaction of the urban elderly people are important manifestations of the social economic development and the improvement of civilization.Aging leads to the decline of physical function and the shrinking of social network in the elderly.The improvement of life satisfaction of the urban elderly largely depends on the support from the family and the interaction with children.Family intergenerational support includes the economic,caregiving and emotional interactions between parents and children.The interaction can be one-sided or reciprocal.By using China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)data in 2018,combined with the active aging theory and social exchange theory,building a "security—participation--reciprocity" analysis framework,using the method of statistical analysis and OLS regression analysis,to explore the influence on the elderly life satisfaction of different content and model of intergenerational support.This paper get conclusions as following through statistical analysis: most urban elderly people are satisfied with their life,but some of them are not satisfied with their life or show a general state.The intergenerational economic support and caregiving support have little difference in the occurrence probability of 66.32% and 68.25% in the urban elderly population,and the intergenerational emotional exchange frequency is high.9.78% of the urban elderly have intergenerational economic reciprocity,25.78% of the elderly have intergenerational care reciprocity,and 44.08% of the elderly have intergenerational economic or care reciprocity.Through empirical analysis,the following conclusions are drawn: As intergenerational support content,firstly,the intergenerational economic support obtained and given by parents have a significant positive impact on the life satisfaction evaluation of the urban elderly.Secondly,the intergenerational care support obtained and given by parents have a significant positive impact on the life satisfaction evaluation of urban elderly.Thirdly,the frequency of intergenerational meeting and contact have a significant positive effect on the life satisfaction evaluation of the elderly;As intergenerational support model,compared with one-way intergenerational support,two-way intergenerational reciprocity has a more stable and significant impact on the life satisfaction evaluation of the elderly.In addition,there is a significant gender difference in the impact of family economic support and caregiving support on life satisfaction of urban elderly.On the basis of the above research,this paper puts forward three suggestions: the first is that we should pay attention to family intergenerational care and emotional interaction to provide old-age security for urban elderly;The second is that we should advocate two-way intergenerational reciprocity and promote active aging;The third is that we should increase social support for the elderly.The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in the following two aspects: the first is analyze the life satisfaction of urban elderly people based on the data of CFPS national survey in 2018 around the theme of family intergenerational support,it makes the research more universal and timely;The second is study the influence of different family intergenerational support contents on the life satisfaction of the elderly in cities from the perspective of two-way support,considered the complex intergenerational support relationship,and compared and analyzed the influence of one-way intergenerational support and two-way intergenerational reciprocity on the life satisfaction of the elderly in cities. |
