The Influence Of Intergenerational Support On The Life Satisfaction Of The Elderly In Rural Areas

Focusing on the people's livelihood and focusing on the life of the elderly is the focus of building a harmonious society and promoting the development of socialism.In the construction of socialist harmonious society,we cannot ignore this group--old age.Among them,the rural elderly are the main body,accounting for more than 70%.Although this group is large,it is free in the fringe of mainstream society and constitutes the largest vulnerable group.Therefore,how to ensure the quality of life and happiness is a serious challenge in the future.It is of great significance to improve the happiness of the elderly in rural areas to build a happy countryside,harmonious countryside and even harmonious society.In the study of the factors influencing the quality of life of rural elderly,the effect of intergenerational support on life satisfaction is getting more and more attention.This study intends to take the elderly people in the rural area of anxi county,quanzhou city,fujian province as the research object to carry out the questionnaire survey,and deeply analyze the influence of the children's intergenerational support on the life satisfaction of the rural elderly.Based on previous research,this paper constructs a mediating model to explore the intermediary mechanism and boundary conditions of intergenerational support for the life satisfaction of rual elderly.According to the intergenerational support and social network theory,this paper proposed the mediation variables-health awareness to explain the relationship between intergenerational support and life satisfaction,and further assume social interactions will be forward to adjust the above relationship.To this end,we choose involving the variables related to scale,and the test reliability and validity of,combined with the mature of life satisfaction scale,and form the formal questionnaire,to collect sample data,and the application of structural equation model and hierarchical regression analysis of empirical test.It is found that:(1)intergenerational support has a positive influence on life satisfaction;(2)health perception plays an intermediary role in the relationship between intergenerational support and life satisfaction;(3)social interaction plays a moderating role in the relationship between generation support and life satisfaction.Finally,this paper summarizes the theoretical and practical significance of this research,and puts forward the following Suggestions to relevant departments and personnel:strengthen the self-adjustment ability of old people and promote the scientific and healthy aging concept;Adult children pass on filial piety to help the elderly enjoy their old age;We should pay attention to the current situation of aging and actively deal with the aging problem.
