Research On The Evaluation Of Social Security Development Level In Hubei Province

In March 2021,the 14th Five-Year Plan proposed that China should "adhere to the principle of ensuring the best possible protection,in accordance with the requirements of covering the bottom line,weaving a dense network and building a mechanism.Accelerate the improvement of a multi-level social security system that covers all people,integrates urban and rural areas,is fair and unified,and is sustainable".This is a programmatic requirement for the development of China’s social security system.It highlights the spirit of pursuing fairness and justice and sharing the fruits of development for all people in China.With the high growth of GDP,many social problems hidden behind this figure have become more and more conspicuous in recent years.Especially,there are many problems in the supply of basic public goods and services.As an important institutional arrangement of basic public services,the level of social security will largely affect the sense of access and well-being of residents in the province.Therefore,this paper obtains a series of macro data.The entropy method-efficacy function model is used to assess the development of the social security level in Hubei Province in the past ten years.It is found that the 10 years from 2010 to 2019.The level of social security in Hubei province shows a trend of continuous growth.Meanwhile,to some extent,the development of social security level in Hubei Province can be divided into two periods.They are the two periods from 2010 to 2014 and 2014 to 2019,In these two periods,the social security level of Hubei Province has gone through a stage from fast to slow.Respectively,the level of social security in Hubei province developed rapidly from 2010 to 2011,but after 2011,there has been a relatively slow growth trend.From 2014 to 2017,the development was relatively rapid,and after 2017,it began to slow down.This development trend is,to some extent,more closely related to the trend of economic growth in Hubei Province,and Stability of social security level,the stability of the social security level,the rigidity of expenditure,and the appropriateness.According to the characteristics related to the development of social security level in Hubei Province,this study proposes to follow the principle of appropriateness,increase the government’s investment in social security funds,broaden the financing channels for social security funds,and strive to develop social welfare undertakings to improve the level of social security.
