| Regional ethnic relations are an integral part of the overall relationship of the Chinese nation.Studying the ethnic relations in a border village is of great practical significance to further explore and promote ethnic unity the ethnic relations in frontier areas.Through field work in Damo Village,Jingxi City,Guangxi,which is on the border of China and Vietnam,the relationship between Miao and Zhuang ethnic groups in Damo Village is studied from the perspective of ethnology,and empirical research is carried out on the relationship between these two ethnic groups from multiple dimensions,showing the interaction of Miao and Zhuang relationships,history and characteristics.The Miao people in Damo Village settled after Nongguan natural village in the high mountains on the Sino-Vietnamese border.Due to the differences in living habits and living environment,the Miao and Zhuang peoples did not communicate deeply enough,and their understanding of each other was relatively one-sided.Because of the contradiction between more people and less land,the Miao and Zhuang people have disputes over the ownership of paddy fields.Under the guidance and support of the government,the relationship between the two ethnic groups was integrated.The Miao people also actively use various favorable resources to conduct multi-level interactions with the Zhuang people in terms of economy and culture,so as to gain more space for their integration into the local society and their own survival and development.In a nutshell,combing the development process of the Miao-Zhuang relationship,exploring the internal logic of inter-ethnic harmony in the border areas,and summarizing its characteristics and laws are conducive to promoting the harmonious and stable development of the border society,promoting ethnic exchanges and integration,and fostering a strong sense of community among the Chinese nation. |
