Ideological work is an extremely important work of the party.It is the work of building the heart for the country and cultivating the soul of the nation.Colleges and universities are not only the main battlefield of ideological work in China,but also the forefront of ideological struggle in China.In order to firmly grasp the leadership and discourse power of ideological work in the new era,it is necessary to make full use of the management power of ideological work,do planning in advance,have a definite target,and serve the fundamental purpose of ideological work with scientific,accurate and operable management means.In essence,"management" and "management right" are two aspects of one body.Management right is the power to carry out ideological management,and management work is the effective grasp and concrete embodiment of the implementation of management right.The advent of the new media era has given new connotation to the implementation of the management of ideological work in Colleges and universities,and brought new opportunities and challenges to ideological management.Based on Marxism and its Sinicization theoretical achievements,guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,this paper takes the ideological construction of teachers and students and the socialist direction of running colleges and universities as the goal of management operation by using literature research method,interview method and empirical research method.Taking institutional construction,team organization,resource input,management operation and supervisory feedback as the dimensions of management work operation,the relationship model between the dimensions of management operation of ideological work in colleges and universities in the new media era and the operation objectives is established.Next,questionnaires were compiled and distributed in the form of Likert scales to collect feedback from teachers and students,and structural equation model was used to test the effect of ideological management.Then,according to the questionnaire,this paper analyzes the operation status of the management power of ideological work in Colleges and universities in the new media era,summarizes it from the two aspects of achievements and deficiencies,and explores the causes of the shortcomings.The results show that from the structural equation model,the ten paths have passed the model test and have positive correlation,which shows that the current implementation of Ideological Management in Colleges and universities is in the right direction and effective.Further analysis of the items in each dimension shows that the current thinking and tools for the operation of the management power of ideological work in Colleges and universities effectively adapt to the characteristics of the new media era,the management means are generally scientific and effective,and the mainstream status of national ideology in the campus is prominent.But from the ideological management work of the audience perception effect,there are still some problems,such as insufficient attraction of ideological propaganda and education work,general acceptance of ideological management guidance program,shortcomings of hardware facilities of ideological management work,negative comments still occasionally emerge,and low satisfaction degree of dealing with ideological emergencies.The main reasons are the poor way of discourse expression and communication in education and publicity,the lack of effective communication with the audience in the formulation of management guidance,the imbalance of spatial distribution in the basic conditions of resource investment,the omission in the daily work of speech inspection and supervision,and the lack of sensitivity and flexibility in dealing with emergencies.In view of this,in order to strengthen the construction of the management right of ideological work in Colleges and universities in the new media era,we should innovate the ways of communication and expression,enhance the affinity of ideological work,respect the dominant position of teachers and students,enhance the appeal of ideological work,optimize management resource allocation,enhance the effectiveness of ideological work,strictly supervise public opinion in schools,enhance the guidance of ideological work,optimize the mode of maintaining stability and dealing with conflicts,and enhance the adaptability of ideological work.
