Abstract/Summary:
Most political conflicts in Thailand often end in coups.Political conflicts in Thailand in the past 5-6 years will usually be manifested in rallies, protests, and marches.Demonstrations are a typical way of expressing democracy, but protests in Thailand have intensified, and protesters clashed with the authorities. The conflicts that have occurred mainly include: 1.Political background 2.Conceptual background3.Political conflict in which the social background leads to a coup.Military intervention in politics may be due to circumstances conducive to military and political intervention. When the social and political system conflicts with the organization and ideology of the military organization, the military will intervene in politics. The factor that causes the military to participate in politics is that society is facing a crisis of serious conflict and political instability, which may lead to “A Political Power Vacuum”.It provides an opportunity for military institutions to organize a hierarchical command system.Strict discipline, high armed forces, and high task efficiency.Beautify nationalism and create economic prosperity, unity, and administrative stability. There are also internal factors of the military, including part of political intervention, which is the management obligation of the military organization, and external factors are reflected in social and economic characteristics. Therefore,Thai democracy is essentially dependent on the form or process of democracy. This can be seen from attempts to modify the form. The structure or nature of these political institutions always exists in the democratic form under each revision. It usually only allows certain parts of political groups to benefit more than others. Therefore, the amendment to the constitution, parliament, political parties and elections are an amendment mainly aimed at the interests of the elite, and it does not take the public interest as the norm to solve these problems.
