Resolution, Of The Root Causes Of The Plight Of Thai-style Democracy In The Perspective Of The Political System

Thailand established a constitutional monarchy in 1932, which was opening the process of democracy in Thailand, however, although Thailand has a constitution, representative system, political party system and other democratic features though 76 years twists and turns, its Thai-style democracy still has been criticized as"bad quality of democracy". Especially in recent years, frequent political turmoil in Thailand makes Thai-style democracy fall into dilemma and deadlock once again. Well, what kind of process has Thai-style democracy experienced? And what kinds of factors lead to the distortion and dilemma of Thai-style democracy? This article, viewing in political system, will analyze the plight of Thai-style democracy from political system level, political role level, political behavior level, political culture level and external environment level respectively. Finally, the paper will summarize the implications and inspirations which come from the plight of Thai-style democracy to us and most developing countries.
