Concerning the pandemic that has afflicted humanity since the end of 2019.Coronavirus,commonly known as COVID-19,has been declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organization. The outbreak has caused so much damage to people’s lives, the global economy, and the social well-being of millions of people that it will take many years to recover. Some countries are vulnerable and unable to handle the pandemic adequately, yet, the pandemic remains a considerable threat to people’s well-being at the domestic level and worldwide. It should be noted that the pandemics have been related to diplomacy or politics and policies between borders that concern international health security.Lacking a coordinating mechanism for responding to the pandemic as a global crisis,it is possible some have been left behind and do not obtain benefits. In the instance of the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand, the Thai government responded with national measures, policies, and strategies;nevertheless, some vulnerable groups remain caught in a difficult situation. The United Nations has worked with the Royal Thai Government and the Thai people to promote inclusive and sustainable development to achieve national goals, the Millennium Development Goals and Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, they advocate for reducing the pandemic’s impact on both public health and socioeconomic;their attempts to address the problem through a whole-of-government and wholeof-society approach, mainly focusing on the most vulnerable by leveraging existing networks to ensure that programming access for all equally. This thesis aims to emphasize the pathways that Thailand will take in response to COVID-19,which will need more robust national policies and a tight global relationship, particularly from the United Nations agencies in Thailand, especially the World Health Organization and United Nations Development Program. Also, the COVID-19 issue in Thailand is highlighted, and how the United Nations is assisting by bringing international theory to the situation. The thesis is completely certain about the global crisis will not get better very soon without an active commitment from member states. This is the reason why Thailand’s government also has a positive connection with the United Nations, regarding the COVID-19 response.
