Local Government Credibility Index Construction And Theme Mining Based On Official Media Sentiment Analysis

In the nineteen major reports of the party,General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly pointed out that we should "enhance the credibility of the government and build a service-oriented government with satisfactory people".At present,China has entered a critical period of comprehensively deepening reform.Governments at all levels must speed up scientific,democratic and law-based construction,enhance government credibility and provide a strong guarantee for China’s modernization.The construction of local government’s credibility is the objective result of local government’s administrative ability,as well as the comprehensive reflection of local government’s performance of duties,administration and provision of public services.The news reports of official media play a decisive role in influencing the credibility of local governments.Therefore,the construction of local government credibility index and the exploration of theme mining through official media news reports are used to objectively reflect the current situation of local government credibility.It is beneficial to improve the construction of local government credibility and provide the basis for the government to make scientific decisions.Based on the report data of the official media of 293 prefecture-level cities across the country from 2010 to 2020,the paper uses the sentiment analysis method of big data to construct a local government credibility index,and analyzes the topics reported by the official media of local government credibility.first,construct a sentiment dictionary in the field of government credibility through sentiment analysis,and use word frequency statistics and social network semantic analysis to analyze the official media reports of local government credibility;secondly,construct a local government credibility index to analyze time trends and regional differences.Analysis;Finally,the thematic analysis of the news reports of the local government’s credibility and official media.The results of this paper show that: From 2010 to 2020,the amount of news reports on the credibility of local governments in my country showed a decreasing trend in the eastern part,the central part and the western part.And with the passage of time,there is a trend of fluctuation and rising;word frequency analysis and social network semantic analysis identify the key areas of local government credibility construction and the public’s perception of government image,and the semantic network presents three circles of "core-sub-core-periphery" Structure;the overall fluctuation of the local government credibility index is large,but the overall credibility is strong;the local government credibility The themes of official media news reports can be divided into nine categories,and the themes are presented in the time dimension and the regional dimension difference.The purpose of this paper is to improve the credibility of local governments.It not only provides countermeasures and suggestions for local government departments to improve their administrative governance capabilities,but also provides a reference for enhancing the management of official media news reports.It has important practical value for the development of local government credibility.
