In June 2016,the Ministry of Education,the Ministry of Justice,and the National Office for the Promotion of Law issued the Youth Rule of Law Education Syllabus,which provides the basic guidelines for schools to carry out youth rule of law education.Some of the initiatives in the Youth Rule of Law Education Curriculum are general and vague,and most of the studies on youth rule of law education in academic circles advocate the diversification of teaching methods,the strengthening of teachers,and the active responsibility of multiple subjects in government,society,family,and school,but little attention is paid to the stage adaptation of rule of law education,which to a certain extent leads to the failure of youth rule of law education work to achieve good results and youth rule of law literacy The situation needs to be further improved.Based on this,this paper intends to research youth rule of law literacy from the perspective of educational progression,to provide a reference for the relevant educational bodies to carry out youth rule of law education,represented by schools.This article consists of four main parts.First,by defining the concepts of youth rule of law literacy and education progression,it clarifies the concept of youth rule of law literacy education progression,and then introduces the current situation of youth rule of law literacy.Secondly,it explains the importance of the study in terms of reducing the rate of juvenile delinquency,implementing the work of juvenile rule of law education,and promoting the process of comprehensively following the rule of law;it also explains the feasibility of the study in terms of the relevant national policy documents,the shift in the center of teaching work in schools and the characteristics of the production of juvenile rule of law literacy.Thirdly,on the premise of taking into account the cognitive ability and physical and mental development of students at different school levels,the study proposes that primary school should be based on life to enlighten the rule of law,junior high school should be based on experience to form the cognition of the rule of law,senior high school should be based on cognition to cultivate the identity of the rule of law,and university should be based on the theory of the rule of law to develop the concept of the rule of law,and the appropriate content and teaching methods of rule of law education for each school level should be clarified.At the same time,according to the characteristics of school segments and the cognitive rules of students,attention is paid to the proper articulation between school segments to ensure the orderly progression and spiral of youth rule of law literacy.Fourthly,taking rule education as an example,we present the gradual progression of rule education in the four school levels of the university,primary and secondary schools in the form of lesson examples,to further clarify the educational path of rule of law literacy of university,primary and secondary school students in a progressive and step-by-step manner.
