From ancient times to now,“learning and excellence is official”is the Chinese people have been adhering to the tradition,but also thousands of years elite talent pursuit of the ultimate goal.In recent years,the number of applicants for civil service exams across the country has reached an all-time high,and the competition is fiercer than ever.However,with the continuous deepening of the administrative system reform in recent years,he government functions have undergone a major transformation.Behind the seemingly glamorous career,the vast majority of civil servants are still at the grass-roots level,conscientiously undertaking the most basic,meticulous and difficult work,with little power and heavy responsibility.Their words and deeds are seen in the eyes of the people and remembered in their hearts.If they are not careful,they may be trapped in the vortex of public opinion and have no power to dispute.Even so,they are faced with the salary,position is not high,transferring,promotion difficult situation,in the long term,grassroots young civil servant’s job burnout and appear,not only reduce the effectiveness and efficiency of young civil servants at the grass-roots level and personal happiness,also affects the young civil servants to individual’s physical and mental health,will affect the government’s administrative efficiency and public service level.On the one hand,college graduates are increasingly enthusiastic about the career of civil servants.In the 2023 National Civil Servant Examination,the total number of applicants has exceeded 2.5 million,an increase of 500000 compared with 2022,a year-on-year increase of 25%,and the number of applicants has reached new highs;On the other hand,the phenomenon of job burnout of young civil servants at the grass-roots level is becoming increasingly serious,and this huge contrast deserves our careful study.This paper takes relevant domestic and foreign literature and research results as the theoretical basis,According to the data of the questionnaire survey and the content of the case interview,MBI scale as the measurement tool,using the three dimensions of job burnout theory,Maslow’s needs theory,new public service theory,resource conservation theory and other public management theories.From gender age,marital status,education,working years,job of B,G province,young civil servants at the grass-roots level situation was summarized and analyzed the influence of job burnout,from three aspects: individual,organization,of job burnout and the impact of the analysis and induction,from the source to elucidate the reasons for this phenomenon.Combined with the national policy and the actual work at the grassroots level,the intervention countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from the three levels of individual,organization and society,so as to alleviate and eliminate the phenomenon of grassroots young civil servants’ job burnout,to improve the realization of young cadres’ self-worth,and to provide a certain reference for the management of grassroots government.
