Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of The People’s Mediation In S Street Of Qufu City

With the rapid development of China’s economy,there are emerging complex disputes and diversified social conflicts.Combining the modern concept of law,based on local cultural resources and virtue,taking benevolence as its connotation,and indoctrination as its method.Qufu City govern the citizens through virtues and feudal code of ethics,settle disputes in accordance with laws and regulations,integrate laws and regulations with social reason,and enhance the idea of "Harmony is precious”,and resolves conflicts and disputes at the infancy stage,and resolves them at the common towns and streets,to avoid all problems before they occur.People’s mediation plays an important role in maintaining social stability and promoting stable economic and social development in common social governance,and is a significant part of common social governance.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the people’s mediation work with regional characteristics in Qufu from the perspective of social governance.Taking S Street,Qufu City as an example,combining social conflict theory,collaborative governance theory,and social governance theory,a detailed analysis on the people’s mediation work of S Street in Qufu City was carried out by means of literature analysis,case analysis,and field research.We find that the number of mediation organizations is insufficient and the composition is single,understaffed and the staff are in low educational level,the funds are insufficient,the working methods are backward,and insufficient common mediation business innovation.The reasons for the problems in common people’s mediation work including the deviation of understanding of common mediation work,the administration of common mediation organizations,the fatigue of common mediators’ work,the weak support for common mediation work,and also the government are lack of detailed specifications for common people’s mediation work.Finally,based on the actual situation of people’s mediation work in S Street,Qufu City,the following countermeasures to improve the common people’s mediation work was: Firstly,Strengthen the government’s sense of responsibility,and government should play leading role;Secondly,optimize common mediation organizations and enhance organizational guarantee;Thirdly,foster a professional mediation team and ensure human resources;Fourthly,ensure to solve the problem of funding through multiple channels and guarantee sufficient fund;Fifthly,refine mediation laws and regulations to help common mediation;Finally,actively advocate mediation work,so as to increase public awareness.In the process of unceasing reform and improvement and in-depth research,common people’s mediation is an effective method to prevent and resolve conflicts and disputes,maintain social harmony and stability,reduce the surge of lawsuits,and promote economic development.With the idea of “ harmony is the most precious staff ”,and the mediation work and traditional culture are combined to activate the mediation mechanism,Qufu City give full play to the important role of common people’s mediation in the governance common society,and promote people’s mediation to shine in the new era of economic society’s stable operating.This study can provide loans and references for similar people’s mediation work.
