Research On Government Support Of Policy-Oriented Export Credit Insurance In China

As a WTO permitting and internationally used tool for promoting foreign trade and economic cooperation,policy-oriented export credit insurance can help enterprises reduce business risks and expand international markets,which has been widely valued and supported by governments all over the world and has become an important policy tool.China is the world’s largest country of trade in goods,and the scale of foreign investment is also in the forefront of the world.More and more enterprises participate in the international market competition,and at the same time,they are facing increasingly severe overseas risks,so it is in urgent need of policy-oriented export credit insurance to provide all-round protection.Therefore,the central and local governments should attach importance to the development of policy-oriented export credit insurance based on the current national conditions and development reality,support the Sinosure’s construction and development,correct market defects and enrich market supply.However,how to view the government behavior from the perspective of public management,to explore the function orientation of the government and what kind of support measures to take,the academia has not yet carried out relevant research.This thesis takes the Chinese government support to Sinosure as the research object,summarizes the current investigation on policy-oriented export credit insurance and related government support at home and abroad,and discusses the related concepts and theories of policy-oriented export credit insurance and government support.Through literature analysis,comparative analysis,interview and other methods,the thesis analyzes comprehensively the current situation of government support in policy-oriented export credit insurance,finds out the problems and shortcomings,and discusses the development mode of our country and the functional role of the government.As a conclusion,suggestions on government support are given from four aspects in terms of improving the support system,enhancing supervision and enterprise services,actively cultivating market carrier and promoting the transformation and development.
