rate of drug addicts by means of professional,scientific and intelligent means,truly take getting rid of drug addiction,restoring physical and mental health and returning to society as the starting point,and promote the scientific drug rehabilitation work to a new level.In the past,although drug addicts achieved remarkable results in the compulsory isolation drug treatment center,they are very easy to follow the old path after returning to society.Frequent relapse events run counter to the fundamental security concept in the new era,so we have to re-examine the overall layout and scientific efficiency of drug treatment work,and deeply study the connection,assistance and later management of drug addicts after returning to society,It is conducive to consolidate the results of discipline and treatment and feed back the long-term results.It is of great significance to the long-term management and discipline and treatment,and is very important to the security and stability of a harmonious society.During the period of compulsory isolation,drug addicts can complete physical detoxification according to the detoxification process,but it is often difficult to correct their psychological addiction in a short time.After returning to society,they are lured by the original drug abuse environment,and the relapse rate remains high.The detailed reasons are mainly as follows: first,there are regional differences in the concept of drug rehabilitation.The drug treatment concepts and models of various provinces are quite different.Especially in some central and western provinces,they still overemphasize the illegal attribute of drug treatment personnel,and even treat drug treatment personnel as prisoners,thus ignoring their patient attribute.They still tend to use coercive and rough means,and regard the stability and no accident of drug treatment personnel as the only standard to measure their work success.Second,there is a lack or urgent need to improve the root cause working methods.Some advanced countries in drug treatment regard physical detoxification as the initial stage of drug treatment,while China believes that this is the end of drug treatment,and does not regard the recovery of physical and mental functions,ideological and conceptual correction,personality reshaping and reintegration into society as the most desired goals of drug treatment.The psychological detoxification status of drug addicts and the employment environment after return are not paid attention to.The lack of any step will lead to the failure of the detoxification process,which is also an important reason for the high relapse rate.Third,the acceptance of social environment needs to be improved.Due to the existence of the social label of drug addicts,it is difficult to integrate into the normal population and resist the negative impact.Enterprises and institutions discriminate against drug addicts in recruitment,which also leads to the fact that drug addicts can not get rid of the original drug circle and form a situation of "holding together for warmth",leading to a vicious circle of relapse.Fourth,the self binding force of drug addicts is not enough,and the government needs to manage them after their return.China attaches great importance to the drug control link,and does not understand the importance of drug treatment link,especially after the return.China has invested a lot of human and material resources in drug control and compulsory isolation,but despises the role of connection and assistance.Due to the insufficient attention of the government and all sectors of society,the vast majority of drug addicts have lost control after returning to society.Based on the author’s many years of work experience and thinking,this paper studies the causes and characteristics of relapse of drug addicts through reading a large number of documents,tracking and observing Haining drug addicts in compulsory isolation treatment places in Zhejiang Province,and investigating community drug rehabilitation,community rehabilitation guidance stations and social work organizations in Haining area,The necessity and effectiveness of follow-up care for drug addicts after returning to society were discussed.According to long-term practical experience,drug rehabilitation is a systematic project.Compulsory isolation and drug rehabilitation is a disciplinary and corrective means.After returning to society,drug addicts can not do without the help and support of various social forces.Consolidate the effect of drug treatment,improve the quality of treatment,do a good job in the connection between compulsory isolation drug treatment centers and communities,guide drug treatment personnel to return to society and continue to accept the treatment and supervision of the government;Improve the construction of social support forces in compulsory isolation drug treatment centers,carry out treatment with the help of advanced technology and medical structure of social science research,hire influential social figures as public welfare ambassadors for publicity,create a public atmosphere and actively carry out drug treatment and rehabilitation;We will establish follow-up assistance and education for drug addicts to return to society,regularly carry out return visits,investigations and assessments,and continue to consolidate the results of compulsory isolation drug treatment.It is hoped that through the research and study of this subject,we can have a deeper understanding and play a certain role in the work of compulsory isolation and drug rehabilitation,community drug rehabilitation and social assistance.
