The early days of the founding of New China were a period of drastic changes in China’s ideological and cultural circles.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949,the Communist Party of China entered the political arena as the ruling party.Through the mainstream ideological education of cadres,the party finally realized the ideological unity of cadres,condensed the consensus of cadres,and promoted the development of new China.The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to the mainstream ideological education of cadres,and before the founding of New China,it attached great importance to the ideological problems of cadres.After 1949,China was in a major transition period of stabilizing political power and restoring the economy,and the Communist Party of China should open a new practice of mainstream ideological education in the new period on the basis of inheriting the mainstream ideological education of cadres in the revolutionary period.During this period,serious ideological problems arose in the ranks of cadres,and the CPC devoted itself to the ideological transformation of cadres.Mainly through propaganda and education,practical education,typical education,and other methods,marxist theoretical education,Mao Zedong Thought education,party history education,and patriotism education were carried out for cadres,and measures such as establishing cadre schools,holding celebration ceremonies,and carrying out the rectification campaign of the whole party were carried out to achieve regular education for cadres,enhance their political quality and ideological consciousness,enhance their identification with the newborn regime,arouse their enthusiasm for building socialism,and create conditions for the recovery and development of the national economy.It was concluded that in the process of carrying out ideological education work,it is necessary to strengthen the party’s leadership over ideology,the content of education should cater to the party’s central work,and the development of mainstream ideology should be in line with the actual situation of cadres.On the basis of drawing on the research results of predecessors,combined with a large number of historical data,using methods such as the combination of history and theory,the combination of macroscopic and microscopic,starting from the analysis of the necessity of the party’s mainstream ideological education for cadres from 1949 to 1956,the main contents,methods and specific measures of mainstream ideological education were sorted out,the historical role of the party in conducting mainstream ideological education for cadres was discussed,and the basic experience of mainstream ideological education in this period was summarized.It has opened up a new path for the mainstream ideological education work in the new period and provided a useful reference for promoting the benign development of cadres.
