A Study On The Socialist Transformation Of Young People In Business

After the founding of New China in 1949,the Socialist Transformation Movement was undoubtedly the most crucial social movement,and it was the completion of this movement that marked the formal establishment of China’s socialist system.As far as specific cities are concerned,since the opening of the port in modern times,Shanghai has shown the regional characteristics of relatively concentrated industrial capital,with a large number of industrial and commercial production and management personnel in the region,and the corresponding industrial strength is huge,with nearly100,000 capitalist industrial and commercial households continuing to produce and operate.In the process,the corresponding practitioners not only have the performance of productivity improvement,but there are also some problems such as speculation,tax evasion,and passive management,and the political,economic and social culture with bourgeois characteristics still remain and play a role in the new social life.In carrying out research on the topic of socialist transformation,the discussion of capitalist industry and commerce in Shanghai has special significance,and is an important entry point for us to understand the grassroots performance of the party and the state in the process of rapidly realizing the transformation from a new democratic society to a socialist society after the founding of New China.Unlike the peasants and craftsmen in the general sense,Mao Zedong and the party leaders had a more complicated identification of the class identity of capitalist industrialists and businessmen,emphasizing their role as allies in the process of the new-democratic revolution and being an important relying force for the party to carry out the proletarian revolution,but at the same time pointing out the struggle between the bourgeoisie(the national bourgeoisie)and the proletariat later,and proposing earlier that the contradiction between the two was the main contradiction in society at that time.Coupled with the Land Reform Movement in rural areas and the subsequent "Five Antis" Movement,the bourgeoisie or specific capitalist industrialists and businessmen have concerns about the Party’s policies and the future development path of New China,and considering the uncertainties in them,they are worried about the future and fate of their own career development.Within this group,young people in business and industry show a more specific group identity.On the one hand,the young people of business and the bourgeois elements in general have the same class character of mercenary and,relatively speaking,stand against the working class;On the other hand,most of the young people in the business circles are young,have fewer worries,and are more concerned about their own development prospects,and are easily exposed to their ideas after education and accept socialist transformation.In view of this reality,the Communist Party of China patiently educates,first of all,to enable it to practice labor in daily production and life,and to promote its formal union with socialist society in both production and life;As far as the management at the government level is concerned,in view of the ideological problems exposed by the industrial and commercial youth in the production process,the government has helped them change their ideological understanding,break the original capitalist understanding,and establish the concept of socialism with the help of various forms of education.Not only that,the party and the state have restructured the social relations of young people in business and industry by absorbing and organizing activists in the industrial and commercial circles and giving play to their unique role in socialist transformation.Summarizing these experiences and practices enables us to have a more concrete understanding of the Socialist Transformation Movement,a deeper understanding of the movement’s performance in the process of capitalist industrialists and businessmen,especially the young industrial and commercial youth,in realizing the transformation of "people",and thus to achieve more in-depth observation and thinking about the whole movement.It is worth emphasizing that although more than half a century has passed,how to deal with the relationship between the nature of socialist society and the capitalist industrialists and businessmen is still a key issue,which is not only of practical significance,but also of theoretical discussion value.In the context of the development of the new era,this paper re-reviews the state on this issue in the early days of the founding of New China,and on the basis of existing research,further pays attention to the specific group of young people in the industrial and commercial circles,and explores the practical process of the Socialist Transformation Movement and the significance of the socialist system reflected therefrom,which is also of guiding significance for us to understand the current social development.
