Socialist revolution thought is an important part of Mao Zedong's Thought. It was one of the problems that Mao spared all his life to think about. As early as founding the state,Mao had made preliminary outlook on how to develop the socialist revolution.Mao Zedong's socialist revolution thoughts had been inherited and developed further after founding the state. The study subjects of this thesis are Mao Zedong's socialist revolution thoughts after the state was founded.Clarifying the vein of historical development of Mao Zedong's socialist revolution thoughts and analyzing their rich connotations have great significance both on theory and practice. From 1949 to 1956,Mao Zedong's socialist revolution thoughts had changes in three aspects.Firstly, when it comes to the time to develop the socialist revolution,Mao had denied the announcement that” establishing the new democratic order”.He put forward that 10 to 15 years was necessary to transfer to socialism gradually.Secondly,on the conditions for the socialist revolution, the way that “we should achieve national industrialization in the first place, then we transfer to socialism”.was also negated by Mao.He thought we could promote the development of productivity by emphasizing cooperative management.Lastly,as for the speed,Mao denied using the three” five-year-plan” to transform agriculture, handicraft industry, capitalist industry and commerce.Mao started criticism for the Right Opportunism in practice, making socialism transformation speed up again and again. In Mao's opinion,“socialism revolution” mainly equaled to “socialism transformation”.Socialism transformation not only included the transformation of the system of ownership of productive means, but also the transformation of people. In July,1957,Mao mentioned that besides carrying on socialist revolution on the economic front,we also needed socialist revolution on the politic and ideological front. The thought of “socialist revolution on the three fronts” turned from recessive to dominant, from vague to clear. The change of Mao Zedong's socialist revolution thoughts was a result of interaction of various factors, which mainly consisted of the mutual influences among the international 20 th congress of the CPSU(Communist Party of Soviet Union),the incident between Poland and Hungary, and the incident with the rectification campaign;the interaction of some correct judgment, such as correctly handling the contradictions among the people, with the practice of the struggle against the expansion of the right;the interaction of Mao's thoughts with the thoughts of central leading group.Mao Zedong's socialist revolution thoughts were closely related to the Great Leap Forward.Analysing from the perspective of development of productivity, the Great Leap was both a technological revolution and cultural revolution.Success for the socialist revolution on the politic and ideological front provided a stable political environment for the Great Leap. After the Great Leap had failed,Mao focused much more on conflicts among different classes, and the socialist revolution on the political and ideological front as well.During the Nanning conference and Chengdu conference in 1958,Mao put forward one after another that we should carry on technological revolution and cultural revolution.Until now,Mao Zedong's socialist revolution thoughts had turned into a system consisting of multiple connotations: a combination of socialist revolution based on the system of ownership of productive means, socialist revolution on the political front, socialist revolution on the ideological front, technological revolution and cultural revolution. On one hand, they five all together made up the system. On the other hand, they complemented each other.Different aspects of socialist revolution had different revolutionary objects, tasks and ways. And they together constituted the organic whole of Mao Zedong's socialist revolution thoughts.
