Research On The Construction Of Characteristic Town In A Town Of Minhou County

In the face of the dual pressures of the changing international economic situation and the lack of impetus for the domestic urbanization process,the concept of people-centered "new-type urbanization" was clearly put forward at the 18 th national congress of the communist party of China for the first time.With the deepening of China’s new urbanization,characteristic town emerges as a new endogenous spatial organization form,which facing the rapid agglomeration and flow of current elements.However,the construction of characteristic town is a long-term process,and some problems are gradually exposed in the development process in the past.In addition to the regional heterogeneity,it becomes an important problem that how to effectively cultivate characteristic town,explore the path of healthy and sustainable development of characteristic towns,and put forward the construction strategy of characteristic towns with more operational value and wide applicability.Based on the domestic and foreign related research results,the thesis makes an empirical study on the characteristic town construction in China.Firstly,the thesis starts with the document analysis,defines the core concept and construction contents of characteristic town,and analyzes the influencing factors of characteristic town construction.Secondly,according to the author’s own survey data,the basic situation of A town in Minhou County,the development process of characteristic town and the construction of characteristic town in A town are summarized.Then,questionnaire survey and interview survey were used to investigate the characteristic town in A town from six dimensions of planning,main body,industry,production factors,service and culture.Thirdly,based on the results of surveys and relevant research results,some problems could be concluded,which existing in the construction process of the characteristic town,and the reasons could be generalized from construction concept,coordination condition,institutional system,industry drive and cultural inheritance.Finally,based on the government function theory,collaborative governance theory,industrial cluster theory and the development experience of characteristic towns at home and abroad,the author puts forward the construction strategies of characteristic town from five aspects:focusing on the future,main body coordination,system supply,industrial innovation and cultural enrichment,to provide a reference for the effective implementation of characteristic towns’ development in China.
