A Study On The Cultivation Of Legal Thinking Of College Students In The New Era

The rule of law is the way of governance in China,and rule of law thinking is a way of thinking with the rule of law as the core.Since the 18 th Party Congress,"rule of law thinking" has received much attention,especially the research results on the rule of law thinking of leading cadres,aiming to improve the ability of leading cadres to use rule of law thinking and rule of law.In contrast,the research on the cultivation of rule of law thinking among college students is weak.As the backbone of the future construction of socialist modernization,the state of rule of law thinking of college students directly affects the prospect of the construction of China under the rule of law to a certain extent.However,in real life,the frequent occurrence of illegal crimes and deceptions among college students shows that the rule of law thinking of contemporary college students is relatively lacking.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of university students’ rule of law thinking in the new era,build a comprehensive and systematic cultivation system,and enhance the ability of university students to use rule of law thinking.This paper focuses on the cultivation of the rule of law thinking among college students and is mainly based on four questions: First,how to understand the cultivation of rule of law thinking among college students? Second,why should we strengthen the cultivation of university students’ rule of law thinking? Third,what is the state of the rule of law thinking and its cultivation among college students? Fourth,how to strengthen the cultivation of the rule of law thinking of college students? These are the problems that need to be considered and solved in the cultivation of the rule of law thinking of college students in the new era,and they are also the topics to be faced by the ideological and political education of college students in the new era.Firstly,it compares the reasons for the selection of the topic,the academic background,the current situation of domestic and foreign research,and the theoretical and practical significance of the cultivation of the rule of law thinking among university students.On the basis of the previous studies,we continue to study in depth the characteristics and contents of the rule of law thinking of college students and explore the theoretical basis of the cultivation of the rule of law thinking of college students,namely the rule of law thoughts of classic Marxist writers,the rule of law thoughts of successive leaders of the Communist Party of China and Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law.Secondly,on the basis of a full investigation,the current situation of the rule of law thinking among university students and the problems and reasons for the cultivation of the rule of law thinking among university students were analysed.China’s rule of law education has made great achievements in the midst of setbacks,but there are still many problems in the cultivation of rule of law thinking among university students: the content of rule of law thinking cultivation is relatively vague,the way of rule of law thinking cultivation is relatively rigid,the process of rule of law thinking cultivation is "short and quick",and the environment atmosphere of rule of law thinking cultivation is weak.The root causes are mainly the realistic resistance of the bad factors in the social rule of law environment,the insufficient efforts to cultivate rule of law thinking in colleges and universities,the parents’ own weak awareness of rule of law and insufficient guidance,and the lack of initiative of college students to cultivate themselves.Finally,according to the problems and causes found in the survey,the path of cultivating the rule of law thinking among college students is proposed in a targeted manner.It puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from four aspects,including the content,cultivation method,cultivation carrier and cultivation environment of the rule of law thinking of university students.Specifically,the government should attach importance to the education of Marxist rule of law theory,strengthen the study and education of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law,and integrate the hot topics of social rule of law into the Civics classroom.The university will also make creative use of the advantages of self-media platforms,give full play to the organisational role of university law societies and conduct class meetings on the theme of rule of law education.
