Research On The Cultivation Of Rule Of Law Thinking Among College Students In The New Era

The rule of law in the new era is not only the ruling style of the CPC,but also the institutional foundation of China’s social governance.The third plenary session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China formally proposed the major strategic task of "building a China under the rule of law";The Fourth Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China studied the "major issues of comprehensively promoting the rule of law" and proposed corresponding measures for the construction of the rule of law;The Fifth Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China further proposed "using legal thinking and methods to promote development",highlighting the importance of legal thinking in the construction of the rule of law.The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that "by 2035,a country,a government,and a society ruled by law should be basically established.".The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)separately discusses and deploys the construction of the rule of law as a special chapter,indicating our party’s firm determination to unswervingly promote the construction of the rule of law.The thinking of rule of law is based on the thinking mode of "analyzing and solving problems in the logic of rule of law",which is opposed to the thinking of rule of man and the way of privilege.Therefore,the thinking of rule of law is the soul of the construction of China under the rule of law.The future of college students as the motherland,their thinking about the rule of law will directly affect the construction of a rule of law China.The ideological and political education in universities carries the important task of "spreading Xi Jinping’ s thought of the rule of law and guiding college students to improve their legal literacy".The course "Ideology,Morality,and the Rule of Law" focuses on the issue of "cultivating socialist rule of law thinking" and provides a significant exposition.In fact,the cultivation of socialist rule of law thinking among college students in the new era is a systematic project,not only a theoretical problem,but also a practical problem.It requires a combination of ideological transformation,strengthening theoretical education,strengthening practical cultivation,and creating an environment and nurturing guarantees to form a joint force in education.This paper synthesizes the new achievements of research in disciplines such as ideological and political education,law,political science,and sociology,and draws on the beneficial elements of academic research on "rule of law thinking".Starting with the category of rule of law thinking among college students in the new era,it systematically analyzes the main problems in cultivating college students’ rule of law thinking,including the low level of legal cognition,insufficient awareness of legal authority,lack of rule of law beliefs,and deviations in rule of law behavior,The main reasons for this are the negative impact of traditional culture,adverse factors in the social environment,insufficient legal education in universities,and a lack of legal knowledge among college students.Finally,it proposes a path for cultivating college students’ legal thinking,firmly based on the position of Chinese characteristics,and clarifies the political direction for cultivating college students’ legal thinking.Propose the cultivation objectives of college students’ legal socialist governance thinking: legal supremacy thinking,fairness and justice thinking,legal protection thinking,and legal affairs thinking;Improve the cultivation content of the rule of law thinking,take the supremacy of the Constitution as the value pursuit,take rights and obligations as the core elements,and take procedural justice as the basic guarantee;Optimize and improve the cultivation methods of legal thinking,innovate classroom teaching methods,and strengthen practical education of the rule of law;Strengthening college students’ own legal literacy and creating a good legal environment have eliminated the negative impact of traditional culture and formed a joint force for the cultivation of legal thinking.
