The education of ethnic minority cadres is not only a part of cadre education work,but also an important part of ethnic work.It plays an irreplaceable role in maintaining ethnic unity and promoting stable development in ethnic areas.In its more than 100 years of history,the Party has regarded the education of ethnic minority cadres as an important way to solve the problems of ethnic work at all stages,especially in the early days of the founding of New China(1949-1956),which is the "critical period" for the CPC to carry out ethnic minority cadre education.Academic circles have carried out certain research around the theoretical basis,educational policies,historical experience,special regions and other dimensions of ethnic minority cadre education during this period,A series of excellent achievements have been launched,but there is insufficient research on educational content,principles,and contemporary inspirations.In this case,the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China will be taken as the time coordinate of the CPC’s research on the education of ethnic minority cadres.Starting from the practical needs,theoretical basis,and content basis of the education of ethnic minority cadres in this period,we will analyze and sort out the educational principles,methods,characteristics,and effects of ethnic minority cadre education,and summarize the experience,with a view to providing referential enlightenment for the education of ethnic minority cadres in the new era.This article mainly analyzes and explores the education work of ethnic minority cadres in the early days of the founding of New China from six aspects.The first part analyzes the necessity of educating ethnic minority cadres in the early days of the founding of New China.It is believed that the early days of the founding of New China are a new period when the CPC leads all ethnic groups to embark on the socialist road,and a major transition period to consolidate political power,build systems,and rebuild the country and society.In this important historical period,the CPC’s ethnic minority cadre education is an inevitable requirement to enhance the awareness of national identity of ethnic minorities,an internal demand for the implementation of regional ethnic autonomy,and a conscious choice to ensure the quantity and quality of ethnic minority cadres.The second part summarizes the theoretical basis for the education of ethnic minority cadres in the early days of the founding of New China.It is pointed out that any work can not be carried out in an orderly manner without certain theoretical guidance.Through literature review,it is found that the thoughts of Marxist classical writers and important figures of the CPC with Mao Zedong as the core on the education of ethnic minority cadres have supported the theoretical foundation of education work in this period,providing ideological guidance for the education of ethnic minority cadres.At the same time,during the New Democracy revolution,the CPC started a preliminary exploration of minority cadre education,which paved the way for the CPC to carry out minority cadre education in theory and practice in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,and provided valuable experience to follow.The third part discusses the main contents of the CPC’s ethnic minority cadre education in the early days of the founding of New China.The CPC,starting from the basic point of the transformation of the central task of the Party and the state,combined with the needs of ethnic work and the need to meet the conditions of ethnic minority cadres themselves,reasonably set the content of ethnic minority cadre education,which mainly includes: theoretical education as the guidance,ideological and political education as the core,and technical and cultural education as the basis.The fourth part summarizes the principles and methods of minority cadres education of the CPC in the early days of the founding of New China.In the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the CPC fully investigated the practical needs and national characteristics of ethnic areas,adhered to the educational principles of bilingual teaching,adjusting measures to local conditions,classified guidance,and integrating theory with practice,and adopted two-dimensional educational methods such as cultivating colleges and universities,and cultivating in-service cadres,thus creating a unique path to carry out ethnic minority cadre education.The fifth part analyzes the characteristics and effects of the CPC’s ethnic minority cadre education in the early days of the founding of New China.The education of ethnic minority cadres during this period integrated more diverse educational elements and work concepts,and also demonstrated a vivid and distinct educational style.Among them,political,flexible,and national characteristics are the most prominent symbols that were demonstrated during the specific historical period of the early establishment of New China.And it has achieved tremendous results,namely improving the comprehensive quality of ethnic minority cadres,enhancing their unity ability,cultivating a large number of ethnic minority cadres and professional talents,and constructing a preliminary system of education for ethnic minority cadres.The sixth part summarizes the main experience and contemporary enlightenment of the CPC’s ethnic minority cadre education in the early days of the founding of New China.The main experience is to take the leadership of the CPC as the fundamental guarantee,take ideological and political education as the core content,adhere to the reality as the basic compliance,and take the construction of educational resources as the important support.On this basis,the contemporary enlightenment is put forward: first,we must adhere to the CPC’s overall leadership over the education of ethnic minority cadres;Secondly,we must base ourselves on the ideological and capacity building of ethnic minority cadres;Thirdly,it is necessary to promote innovation in the education of ethnic minority cadres;Fourthly,it is necessary to grasp the internal tension of minority cadres’ education;Fifth,it is necessary to integrate the rich resources of minority cadres’ education.
