Study On The Quadrilateral Mechanism Of America,Japan,India And Australia

Against the backdrop of America’s "Indo-Pacific" strategy,the four-sided mechanism among the United States,Japan,India and Australia has been reactivated,showing a trend of normalization.To curb China,the United States,Japan,India,Australia and other countries in economic,political and security cooperation is increasing,making the security environment in the region increasingly complex.With the continuous improvement of the mechanism,the relationship between the United States,Japan,India and Australia has become increasingly close,with obvious "quasi-alliance","military" and "limitations".The construction of a new order in the Asia-Pacific region and the Indo-Pacific region is the basic goal of its strategy and organizational system.However,in the quadrilateral mechanism,the needs and objectives of the various stakeholders are not completely the same,so its operation direction is full of uncertainty.The development of the quadrilateral mechanism is facing many difficulties because of the different goals of different countries,internal difficulties and external constraints.Therefore,we must be soberly aware that the "four-sided" mechanism has had many negative effects on the international situation,causing not only the turbulence and division of the international pattern,the impact on the regional security pattern,but also a serious threat to China’s national interests.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is to sort out the background of the establishment of the mechanism.The second part is the formation process and evolution path analysis of "quadrangle mechanism".The third part is about the policy adjustment and design of the United States,Japan,Australia and India in the process of promoting the foursided mechanism.Part 4 focuses on the dilemma of the development and evolution of the quadrilateral mechanism.The fifth part forecasts the development trend and influence of quadrilateral mechanism on the basis of the previous research,analyzes the influence of quadrilateral mechanism on China and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.The current international situation is complex and changeable.There are new trends in the mechanisms of the United States,Japan,India and Australia: first,promoting economic cooperation in supply chains and industrial chains;second,promoting the formation of "paramilitary alliances" for security reasons;and third,strengthening foreign cooperation on a regional basis.Although the Four-Sided Mechanism poses a serious threat and challenge to China’s development,China has always taken a responsible attitude,firmly pushed forward the Belt and Road Initiative,strengthened cooperation with ASEAN countries,and divided and weakened India’s role in this process.At the same time,China will work hard to build new international relations,vigorously promote the spirit of win-win cooperation,in order to establish a "responsible power" image.
