Research On The Alienation Of Digital Labor

The rapid development of digital information technology has led people into the era of digital economy.In this era,digital information technology represented by Internet,big data and artificial intelligence has been integrated into various fields of economic and social development,affecting the whole process of production and life of human society.In the process of promoting economic and social development,digital information technology has also spawned new forms of labor and new ways of alienation-digital labor and digital labor alienation.Among them,the influence of digital labor alienation is gradually emerging in society,which has a certain negative impact on the sustained and healthy development of China’s digital economy,so the problem of digital labor alienation needs to be studied and solved urgently.This paper systematically studies the problem of digital labor alienation,combines Marx’s alienated labor theory with the social reality of contemporary digital labor alienation,clarifies the concept of digital labor alienation,analyzes the realistic performance of digital labor alienation,summarizes its characteristics and harm,explores its specific causes,and then puts forward the sublation path of digital labor alienation.The alienation of digital labor is a contemporary form of labor alienation,which is more hidden than the alienated labor proposed by Marx.The problem of digital labor alienation exists not only in people’s labor field,but also in people’s life field.Although digital labor alienation has changed in form and content compared with Marx’s alienated labor,it can still be understood according to the four provisions on alienated labor,namely,human and labor products,human and labor itself,human and human nature,and human and alien others.Its root is still the private possession of the means of production under the condition of capitalist private ownership.Digital capital follows the capital logic of pursuing value increment,applies digital information technology to the direction of extracting surplus labor value from workers,and builds a digital landscape society through digital information technology to cover up the social reality of digital labor alienation and digital polarization.The analysis of the causes of digital labor alienation is the premise of putting forward the sublation path of digital labor alienation.Because the source of digital labor alienation is the same as Marx’s alienated labor,its fundamental path of sublation must also be consistent with Marx’s path of sublation of private property and development of productive forces.Recognizing the arduousness of sublating private property,we should take measures to weaken the practical impact of digital labor alienation.First,people-oriented logic should replace capital logic as the development logic of digital information technology.Second,clear ownership of data production materials should be used to eliminate the chaos of capital’s free possession and use of human data.Third,new forms of labor should be developed to guide digital labor on the right track.Resolving the problem of digital labor alienation is of great significance to the sustained and healthy development of China’s digital economy.The scale of China’s digital economy has occupied the forefront of the world,and the world will enter a new round of digital economic development competition in the post-epidemic era.We must realize the significance of resolving the problem of digital labor alienation,eliminate the negative impact of digital labor alienation with practical actions,and give full play to the role of digital elements in promoting China’s economic development,so as to continue to maintain the leading edge and realize the grand goal of building a digital China and even a digital destiny community for mankind.
