During the Central Soviet period,in response to the military siege launched by the Nanjing Nationalist Regime, the Chinese Communist Party adjusted the guidelines of the women’s movement to uphold the political idea that "peasant women need the revolution and the revolution needs peasant women" and emphasized the importance of peasant women in the revolutionary war in the Soviet Union.Red China, the first organ of the Provisional Soviet Central Government in Ruijin, was also the most widely circulated and influential newspaper in the Soviet Union. It not only became an effective tool for the Party and the Soviet Government to consolidate the democratic power of workers and peasants, but also an important vehicle for breaking down the feudal ideology of male superiority over women, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of women, and advocating peasant women to leave the family. It played an important role in mobilizing peasant women to pursue equal rights, participate in production, expand the Red movement and the military struggle against the "siege".First,we explain the reasons for Red China’s attention to and coverage of the peasant women’s movement;second,we examine the development of the peasant women’s movement based on the relevant texts published in Red China from December 11,1931 to October 3,1934,such as the establishment of various women’s organizations, the Soviet government’s mobilization of peasant women’s equal rights to participate in politics, marital autonomy, and economic independence, and Again,we summarize the impact of the Red China newspaper’s reports on the peasant women’s movement. We find that the Red China newspaper reinforced the importance of the peasant women’s movement in terms of prerequisites, fundamental purposes and stages, and adopted a propaganda form that combined political guidance with emotional motivation, slogan propaganda with posting of banners, and adaptation of red songs, thus creating an image of exemplary peasant women and creating a public opinion atmosphere of gender equality for the construction of the Soviet revolution, thus pushing the peasant women’s movement forward.Undeniably, there were certain limitations in the coverage, such as the phenomenon of women’s emancipation subordinated to the revolution and a neutral attitude toward gender inequality. In conclusion, the fact that the Soviet government during the Central Soviet period mobilized peasant women to participate in the revolution more effectively through the Red China newspaper, which led to a greater degree of women’s emancipation,is a practical inspiration and historical reference for women’s work in the new era, such as attaching importance to public opinion propaganda, strengthening the leadership of women’s organizations, mastering the art of coordination and mobilization, and giving full play to the role of exemplary women,so as to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of rural women in the new era and make them assume the role of history and the times. In this way, they can fully mobilize the enthusiasm of rural women in the new era,so that they can take up the important responsibilities given by history and the times and make their due contribution to the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
