Research On The Construction Of Statistical Credibility Of Grass-roots Government

Over the past 70 years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,China has gradually developed and improved its statistics from scratch.Now a modern statistical system with a complete system has been initially established.Statistical departments at all levels actively provide high-quality statistical products and services to the government and all sectors of society,playing an irreplaceable role in economic and social development.At the same time,we should also be aware that,with the development of China’s economy and the deepening of economic globalization,the public pays more attention to the government statistics,while questioning the authenticity of statistical data.The credibility of statistics of grassroots governments is particularly prominent,and the credibility of statistics of grassroots governments continues to weaken.The credibility of government statistics and even the credibility of the whole government have a huge negative impact.On the basis of existing research,this thesis will combine theoretical views and own work practice,take the statistics of J District government of Y City as an example,and understand the public’s current situation of statistical credibility of J District government of Y City through questionnaires and interviews.It is concluded that there are some prominent problems in the construction of government statistical credibility in J District of Y City,such as low public awareness of statistical work,statistical services that cannot meet public demand,low transparency of government statistical work,and prominent data quality problems.On the basis of the theory of new public service theory,asymmetric information,analyze the deep reason primary-level government statistics credibility problem is,so that a more accurate understanding of the social from all walks of life demand for grassroots government statistics and statistical services,targeted puts forward some countermeasures,hoping to find an effective way to enhance grass-roots government statistics credibility.
