Study On The Problems And Countermeasures After Township Administrative Division Adjustment In Anju District Of Suining City

After the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,China has made overall arrangements for regional administrative reform General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly stressed the need to implement the overall strategy of regional development,promote coordinated regional development,and make important instructions on the reform and adjustment of township administrative divisions.The CPC Central Committee and The State Council have taken administrative division as an important part of modernizing China’s governance system and capacity,and promoted the optimization of administrative division settings as a major reform issue.For this purpose,aiming at the large number of towns and villages for a long time,rural development is constrained,the original zoning structure cannot adapt to the requirements of modern governance,Sichuan Provincial Party Committee will bring township administrative zoning adjustment into the comprehensive deepening of the reform system planning.In October 2019,the first adjustment of township administrative divisions in Sichuan province officially kicked off since 1992,which is also one of the major fundamental reforms that Sichuan province has deployed and carried out in recent years,involving the most extensive,attracting the most attention of the people and having the most far-reaching impact.In January 2021,with the approval of the township administrative division adjustment plan of seven counties in Liangshan Prefecture,the whole province’s township administrative division adjustment reform has been completed in this round.However,through visits and investigations,the author found that the townships after the merger still face many difficulties and problems in terms of social livelihood,economic development,and supporting reform policies.The thesis aims to summarize the problems through the relevant theories of public management,further explore the causes of the problems,and aim to put forward countermeasures and suggestions for relevant departments to carry out follow-up work,and provide reference for other regions to carry out the adjustment and reform of township administrative divisions.
