Research On The Construction Of China’s National Security Image Based On The "The Belt And Road"

In the context of globalization,as the main body of international relations,the image of a country in the international community directly affects its own strategic measures,especially the implementation of global strategies.Whether a country has a good image will directly affect its status in the international community.A good national image of a country can help it win the recognition of the people of the world and gain the support and understanding of international public opinion.Therefore,it is very necessary to build a good national security image in the international community.The "the Belt and Road" initiative,as an important strategic initiative to promote the peaceful transformation of the old and new international order in the context of "two overall situations",inevitably needs to assume the responsibility of shaping the national image.However,with the continuous development of the "the Belt and Road" construction,the international community has attached great importance to it.At the same time,there have also been many negative views on the "the Belt and Road" initiative.Some countries even slander China through the "the Belt and Road" initiative,causing some countries along the "the Belt and Road" to doubt the "the Belt and Road" initiative and China’s true intentions under the influence of international public opinion.These problems not only threaten the construction of the "the Belt and Road",but also have a certain impact on China’s national security and national image.Therefore,it is particularly important to use the "the Belt and Road" platform to maintain China’s national security,reverse international public opinion,and shape a good national security image.This paper comprehensively uses a variety of research methods,combined with the "the Belt and Road" initiative and the related research contents of national security and national image,analyzes and discusses the theoretical connotation of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and national security image,explains the internal logic between the two,and expounds the internal and external challenges faced by the construction of China’s national security image based on the "the Belt and Road" initiative.Then,it proposes a feasible path to build China’s national security image based on the "the Belt and Road".The specific content mainly includes the following parts:The first part is mainly the elaboration of relevant theories.This part first expounds the relevant theories of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and national security image,laying a theoretical foundation for revealing the relationship between the two.The second part is mainly about the practical significance and the relationship between them.In this part,the internal logic between the "the Belt and Road" initiative and the construction of national security image is discussed,and the significance of the "the Belt and Road" practice to the construction of national security image is expounded.This part is the basic part of this paper.The third part is the challenges faced by the construction of China’s national security image based on the "the Belt and Road".This chapter mainly analyzes and discusses the challenges faced by the construction of China’s national security image from the internal and external aspects.The internal challenges are: the security governance capacity of the local government in the border area is under pressure,there are environmental differences between Chinese enterprises and host country enterprises,there are misunderstandings and misinterpretations of the "the Belt and Road" initiative in China,and the "the Belt and Road" story has insufficient communication capacity;The external challenges are: some countries outside the region have negative stereotypes and cognitive bias towards China,some countries along the line have vigilance and hostility towards China,western countries spread false statements to slander and smear China’s image,and there are differences in political systems and values with countries along the line.The fourth part discusses the realization path of China’s national security image construction based on the "the Belt and Road" from the basic standpoint of the challenges faced.In general,the cultivation path of China’s national security image construction based on the "the Belt and Road" needs to start from five aspects:political security image,economic security image,cultural security image,social security image and ecological security image.This paper mainly analyzes and ponders the research on the construction of China’s national security image based on the "the Belt and Road" from the above four parts.The construction of China’s national security image based on the "the Belt and Road" is conducive to enriching China’s national image theory,improving China’s voice in the international community,and thus better safeguarding China’s economic,political,cultural and security interests,which has important theoretical value and practical significance.
