Research On The Impact Of Rural Tertiary Integration On The Vulnerability Of Rural Poverty In China

Although China has achieved a comprehensive victory in poverty alleviation in 2020,solving the problem of unstable population and people vulnerable to returning to poverty is still an important issue for poverty alleviation and rural revitalization in the new era.Actively promoting the integration of the three rural industries can stabilize the achievements of poverty alleviation,give full play to the multifunctionality of agriculture,realize industrial revitalization,and then reduce the vulnerability of returning to poverty.Firstly,this thesis constructs a system of indicators of rural triple-industry integration and vulnerability to return to poverty,and uses the random forest entropy weighting method to measure the development level of rural triple-industry integration and vulnerability to return to poverty in China,while analyzing the regional characteristics and heterogeneity of each region.Second,a panel data model is used to study the impact of rural triple-industry integration on vulnerability to poverty return;a mediation model is used to analyze the impact of rural triple-industry integration on vulnerability to poverty return under the influence of rural labor transfer and income disparity.Finally,based on different indicator dimensions,we analyze the effects of rural tri-industry integration with rural labor transfer and income disparity on each other’s poverty reduction effects through moderating effects.The study shows that(1)from the overall perspective,the development level of rural industrial integration in China is gradually improving;from the regional perspective,the development speed of rural three-product integration is the highest in the eastern region,followed by the central region,and the lowest in the western region.(2)The regression results show that the integration of rural three industries can significantly suppress the vulnerability to return to poverty,and there are regional differences.(3)The moderating effect analysis shows that the interaction term of rural tri-industry integration and rural labor transfer can significantly reduce the risk of returning to poverty.Combining the results of theoretical and empirical analyses,this thesis puts forward some countermeasures to improve the comprehensive development level of rural tri-product integration,promote the coordinated development of regional rural tri-product integration,and help the development of rural tri-product integration and rural labor transfer to synergistically reduce poverty.
