| As a large agricultural country,agriculture is the foundation of people’s livelihood and is of great importance to Chinese governance.Without the modernization of agriculture and rural areas,the modernization of the country is hard to realize.It can be said that on the journey to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,the most arduous and onerous task is in the countryside,the most extensive and profound foundation is in the countryside,and the greatest potential and the most sufficient momentum is also in the countryside.Therefore,at any time agriculture can not be ignored,farmers can not be forgotten,the countryside can not be left behind.At the 19 th CPC National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that "agriculture,rural areas,and farmers are fundamental issues related to the people’s livelihood,and we must always address the ’three rural’ issues as the top priority of the work of the whole Party and implement the rural revitalization strategy." Around the rural revitalization strategy,General Secretary Xi Jinping further required that the development of rural agriculture should be put in priority,should adhere to the priority development of agriculture and rural areas,and a ’three rural’ workforce that understands agriculture and loves the countryside and farmers should be cultivated.In the view of General Secretary Xi Jinping,the key to deal with Chinese issues lies in the Party,in people,and talents.The core element in implementing the rural revitalization strategy is the cultivation and supply of talents.Rural youths are the future of the motherland,the hope of the nation,and the important strength and reserve resources of the rural talent team.The full realization of the rural revitalization strategy cannot be achieved without the active participation and dedication of the youths who are knowledgeable,sentimental,and energetic.Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance and practical value to explore rural youth’s awareness of the rural revitalization strategy,to effectively guide rural youth to strengthen their identification with the rural revitalization strategy,and enhance their enthusiasm and participation in the rural revitalization work.Based on the theme of "rural youth’s cognition and identification of rural revitalization",this paper is guided by Marxist ideological theory and adopts the research path of "problem identification-problem analysis-problem-solving".Integrating methodologies including literature research,policy analysis,empirical research,this paper clearly defined the concepts and theoretical dimensions related to rural youth and rural revitalization,conducted an in-depth investigation on rural youth’s cognition and identification of rural revitalization strategy,and analyzed the problems and causes of rural youth’s cognition and identification with the rural revitalization strategy from multiple dimensions.At last,the study proposes a comprehensive approach to educate and guide rural youth to identify with the concept of rural revitalization.This study is divided into four parts,which are as follows:The first part is the establishment of topic selection and the review of existing literature(sections including introduction and literature review).In this part,I mainly elaborate the origin of the research topic,the purpose and significance of the research,review the current situation of related literature and summarizes the outcomes and shortcomings,methods and innovations of this study.The research concludes that although the academic circles have achieved rich results on rural revitalization strategies,the focus of research is mostly on rural industries and rural culture.Little attention has been paid to rural talents,rural ecology,and rural organizations,especially their roles in solving practical problems.Existing research is seldom involved in discussing the relationship between the cognition and identification of "youth" or "adolescents" and rural revitalization.Particularly,there are few empirical studies in this research field.Closely following the theme of "Rural youth’s cognition and identification of rural revitalization",this paper clearly defines related concepts,empirically investigates rural youth’s cognition and identification towards rural strategics.The study compares the heterogeneity of cognition and identity among respondents with different attributes,analyses the causes for the otherness,synthesizes the reasons for the formation of cognitive and identity dilemmas among rural adolescents,and proposes corresponding solutions for the references of policy markers.The second part is theoretical basis and conceptualization(Section 1).Firstly,it clearly defines the concepts and connotations of "youth","cognition and identification",and "rural revitalization".Secondly,the theoretical bases such as cognitive laws,cognitive habits,cognitive characteristics,self-identity,social identity,value identity,and interest identity are discussed.Thirdly,this section explains the strategic connotation of rural revitalization,the demand for talents.Finally,the importance of rural youth cognition and identification in the achievement of rural revitalization is summarized,such as helping youth to increase their wisdom,helping to revitalize rural culture,and helping to realize the revitalization of rural talents.The third part is the situation investigation and factor analysis(section 2 and section 3).Firstly,through questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews,8000 rural young people from the east and west of China were selected as the samples.The content of the survey includes the "basic situation","recognition of rural revitalization concept","identification of rural revitalization concept",and "education on the cognition and identification of rural revitalization".The conclusions suggested that rural youths’ cognition and recognition of the concept of rural revitalization show an overall positive trend in the mainstream but not optimistic in the tributaries,with the characteristics of interweaving rationality and sensibility,and coexisting sobriety and confusion.By operating Chi-square test and Pearson coefficient in SPSS 27.0,several factors including “gender”,“grade”,“region”,and “only-child family” are verified to influence rural youth’s cognition and identification of rural revitalization.Finally,this section outlines the shortcomings and problems of some adolescents’ cognition and identification with the concept of rural revitalization and discusses in depth the mechanisms and realistic attributions of adolescents’ own,family,school,and society’s roles in adolescents’ cognition and identification.The fourth part combines the findings and systematic attribution and proposes an inside-out and interlocking implementation path from five dimensions,including theoretical research,campus construction,publicity channels,environmental construction,and cultural influence.Specifically,the direction of education should be maintained and policy-oriented publicity and education should be deepened continuously.Education channels need to be continuously strengthened,especially the construction of teachers for the "three entry" education.Relying on multiple media channels,the publicity and education position of rural revitalization can be expanded.The excavation of effective cases is supposed to improve the education environment of rural revitalization.Finally,through multiple cares,family strength can be united. |
