In order to thoroughly implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on ‘big ideological and political courses’,it has become the mission of all colleges and universities in the new era to promote all kinds of courses and ideological and political courses in the same direction and comprehensively promote the high quality construction of ideological and political courses.The release of the Guidelines for the Construction of Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities has provided guidance for the ways and priorities of carrying out ideological and political education in science and engineering colleges and universities,and points out that science and engineering courses should pay attention to cultivating students craftsman spirit of excellence,and stimulate their feelings and missions as scientific and technological workers in the motherland.With the proposal of the strategy of making China a powerful country in 2025,how to cultivate high-level innovative talents in science and engineering is a common challenge faced by science and engineering colleges and universities in China.It is also based on the core focus of comprehensively improving the quality of science and engineering personnel training,and cultivating science and engineering students’ pioneering and innovative spirit of pursuing excellence.Through investigation and interview,it is found that the craftsman spirit has achieved good results in integrating into the ideological and political construction of science and engineering universities.Firstly,science and engineering universities are paying more and more attention to the cultivation of craftsman spirit in the ideological and political construction of the curriculum.Secondly,the professional teachers play a demonstration effect on cultivating the spirit of craftsman.Finally,science and engineering students have higher and higher recognition of craftsman spirit.By means of curriculum ideological and political education,colleges and universities of science and engineering make full use of curriculum ideological and political education to cultivate the craftsman spirit of science and engineering college students,firmly establish the political direction of science and engineering talents,realize the cultivation of talents for the party and the country,and transform the continuous talent advantage into the vigorous advantage of strategic scientific and technological strength.However,due to the lack of mining and integration ability of some professional teachers in the current stage to cultivate the ideological and political elements of craftsman spirit,the teaching methods of integrating craftsman spirit into curriculum ideology and politics needs to be innovated,and the comprehensive influence of subjective and objective factors such as the weak consciousness of independent cultivation of science and engineering college students,the current craftsman spirit has encountered some difficulties in the process of integrating into the ideological and political construction of science and engineering university courses.For example,the excavation and selection of ideological and political elements related to the spirit of craftsmanship are not in place,there is still a simple ‘labeling’ phenomenon in cultivation,teaching methods are not compatible with the needs of the object,and there is a disconnect between the cognition and practice of science and engineering students.In view of this,this paper selects three typical cases of the integration of craftsman spirit into the ideological and political construction of science and engineering universities,and analyzes how the craftsman spirit is ‘ like salt solved in water ’ in the ideological and political construction of courses from the target elements,content elements and method elements.Finally,through analysis and research,the corresponding ways to get rid of difficulties are put forward from the team path,teaching path,cultural path and practical path.Firstly,the curriculum ideological and political teachers need to play the role of the‘main force’.Secondly,highlighting the ‘main engine’ efficiency of professional course teaching.Moreover,highlighting the ‘catalyst’ function of campus culture to cultivate the craftsman spirit.Finally,strengthen the ‘booster’ effect of practical activities on the cultivation of students’ craftsman spirit.Relying on the means of curriculum ideological and political education,we will cultivate the craftsman spirit of teachers and students in science and engineering universities,improve the quality level of curriculum ideological and political construction in science and engineering universities,and provide talent support for achieving high-level scientific and technological innovation.
