Study On The Cultivation Of Craftsmen Spirit In College Students Of Science And Engineering

The spirit of craftsman has attracted much attention since 2015.In many important speeches by national leaders and programmatic documents promulgated,it is also pointed out that we should carry forward and cultivate craftsman spirit.The spirit of craftsman is not only an outstanding spiritual legacy in our country's traditional culture,but also an indispensable spiritual force for the transformation of our country from a "big manufacturing country" to a "great manufacturing country".It is the core spirit of "professionalism" in the core values of socialism,the transition from career to cause and the spiritual source of realizing self-worth.College students are the important object of the cultivation of craftsman spirit,while science and engineering college students are an important part of college students,whose professional characteristics determines the nature of future work.Therefore,it is of great significance to guide the science and engineering college students to systematically learning the relevant contents of the craftsman spirit.In the past three years,the academic community has gradually strengthened the research on craftsman spirit and achieved certain research results,which is mainly reflected in the historical inheritance of craftsman spirit,its contemporary connotation,its connection with the socialist core values of the Chinese dream,and how to cultivate students' craftsman spirit in higher vocational colleges,etc.However,there is no targeted investigation and systematic analysis of the state of cultivating craftsman spirit in science and engineering college students from universities such as general universities and normal universities.Therefore,no rigorous and highly feasible training paths have been proposed.This article learns and sorts out relevant theories and documents of “Craftsman Spirit”,and on this basis,the historical connotation and contemporary connotation of the craftsman spirit are explained separately.Combined with the characteristics of students of science and engineering,it summarizes the connotation of craftsman spirit in science and engineering college students,including the patriotic feelings of family and nation as well as the firm enthusiasm of patriotism;diligent and hardworking spirit of study;the creative consciousness of seeking truth and concentrating;to tackle tough,dare to be the first responsibility and the overall awareness of dedication and not counting the gains and losses.Then,920 college students of science and engineering from some universities in Changchun were surveyed online through questionnaires and the results were analyzed,preliminarily summarizing the following problems: the lack of related content on craftsman spirit in classroom teaching;campus cultural activities lack the relevant design of craftsman spirit;few educators in the faculty have craftsman spirit;the social atmosphere of craftsmanship is not strong,and the integration with socialist core values still needs to be improved;students of science and engineering have not established their own professional spirit,and they need strengthening guidance and cultivation.And analyzing the reasons from the four aspects of self factors,family factors,university factors and social factors,to explore the path of helping college students of science and engineering cultivate the craftsman spirit: enrich the teaching contents,and integrate the craftsman spirit into it;strengthen the construction of campus culture,let craftsman wind linger campus;improve the craftsman spirit accomplishment of educators,build first-class teacher team;establish the concept of occupational equality,let the craftsman spirit become the norm but not the few;promote the occupation accomplishment of science and engineering college students,internalize the craftsman spirit into their own needs.
