Self-confidence,as an intrinsic personality trait,is the positive emotional experience of teachers of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities on their own theories,discipline development research,teaching and occupations,which can be transformed into an internal force to mobilize their subjective initiative in work,promote the professional development of the ideological and political theory courses teachers,and enhance the teaching effect of the ideological and political theory courses.The key to running a good ideological and political theory courses lies in the teachers.Only when the teachers of the ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities have sufficient self-confidence can they realize the professional development of the teacher team of the ideological and political theory courses,ensure the connotative construction of the ideological and political theory courses,and thus cultivate excellent successors for the party and the country.The paper profoundly understands the connotation and inherent composition of the self-confidence of ideological and political theory courses teachers from the four dimensions of theoretical self-confidence,discipline self-confidence,teaching confidence and professional self-confidence,explains the importance of self-confidence of the ideological and political theory courses teachers in colleges and universities,and draws on the relevant theories of Marxist theoretical disciplines and psychology to provide a basis for the research of this topic.Through the questionnaire survey of the ideological and political theory courses in some colleges and universities in Wuhan,it is found that the self-confidence of the teachers of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities is generally good,the theoretical selfconfidence of ideological and political theory courses teachers in Colleges and universities is significantly improved,they have a strong sense of identity to the subject value,and they have a positive professional attitude and teaching confidence.What cannot be ignored is that there are still some teachers lack self-confidence,which is mainly manifested in four aspects: the theoretical research is not in-depth,the sense of achievement of the discipline is not high,the sense of teaching effectiveness is not strong,and the sense of professional identity is not high.In view of the lack of self-confidence of some teachers of the ideological and political theory courses,the reasons affecting the self-confidence of the teachers of the political theory courses are analyzed from four aspects: individual factors,discipline construction,school management system and social environment.Starting from the aspect of internal factors,we will improve the self-literacy of teachers of the ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities by strengthening theoretical armament,improving teaching ability,enhancing pressure resistance and cultivating professionalism;improve the discipline construction by strengthening the construction of the discipline’s own system,strengthening the exchange of discipline scientific research and training,and strengthening the construction of the discipline discourse system.Starting from external factors,we will provide school system guarantees for enhancing the self-confidence of teachers of the ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities through improving the teacher training and development system,establishing a scientific assessment and evaluation mechanism,and improving the teacher work guarantee mechanism;create a good atmosphere for enhancing the self-confidence of the ideological and political theory courses teachers by creating a strong atmosphere of respecting teachers and improving the ideological and political work system.Thus providing a feasible reference for improving the self-confidence of teachers of the ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities.
