Research On Government Functions In The Development Of Characteristic Agricultural Industry

As an cncient Chinese wisdom saying highlights ‘Among 8 most important governance issues,food stands atop’.China is a large agricultural country,the people are the root of the country,agriculture is the foundation of the country.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "we should encourage and support farmers to develop special agriculture based on local resources,support new agricultural business entities,cultivate a new type of farmers,and do a good job on this article of modern special agriculture".The government plays an extremely important functional role in the development of special agricultural industries.In recent years,China’s county urbanization has achieved leapfrog development,and the county government has played a crucial role in the urbanization process.As a grass-roots government,the county government builds bridges between the superior policies and the general public.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the actual performance of the county government in developing the special agricultural industry in order to effectively improve the functions of the county government and accelerate the realization of agricultural modernization.Based on the above research background,this paper studies the issue of government functions in the development of county-level special agricultural industries.Taking the government’s performance in the development of the county’s special agricultural industry as a clue for analysis,Yuzhong County,one of the main bases for the "transportation of vegetables from the north to the south" and "transfer of vegetables from the west to the east",is taken as a sample for analysis.The role of local government in incentive guidance,financial support,and supervision is clarified,and the effectiveness of the government’s efforts in these areas is confirmed.Then list the current problems in the performance of Yuzhong County Government in promoting the development of highland summer vegetable industry,and analyze the reasons for the deficiencies from macro and micro levels,,and finally propose the path of optimizing government functions in the development of county special agricultural industry based on the above.
