Research On The Participation Of Converged Media Center In Grassroots Social Governance In Wencheng County

The report of the 20th CPC National Congress proposed to strengthen the construction of the all-media communication system and shape a new pattern of mainstream public opinion.The county-level financial media center has expanded from simple news publicity to public service,from one-way communication to multiple interactive communication,and has combined media and government affairs to become the "last mile" platform for grass-roots social governance.In the context of media integration,how to let the media participate in grass-roots social governance,consolidate the foundation of national grass-roots governance,and promote the modernization of governance system and governance capacity has become an important issue.In 2019,Wencheng County Financial Media Center was established.Through the overall integration of the propaganda media resources of the county radio and television station and the county news center,a financial media matrix of "one network,one station,one newspaper,one end,two micro-enterprises" was constructed.This paper takes the Rong Media Center of Wencheng County as the research object,uses the media convergence theory and the collaborative governance theory,and adopts a variety of research methods such as questionnaire survey,literature research,interview,etc.to investigate and study its participation in grass-roots social governance.The study found that Wencheng County Rong Media Center has made some achievements in the publicity,communication,supervision and coordination of participating in grass-roots governance by focusing on the center’s coverage of grass-roots social governance,adapting to the needs of the people by using new media communication forms,and focusing on hot spots.However,there are also the following problems: firstly,the cognitive inaccuracy of the governance subject,secondly,the failure of the collaborative function of media governance,thirdly,the lack of close communication and interaction among multiple parties,and fourthly,the failure to effectively solve grassroots social governance problems.Based on the problems found in the research,the paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions from multiple aspects: firstly,to improve the awareness of governance subject concepts;secondly,to enhance the collaborative function of media governance;thirdly,to expand multiple communication channels to ensure benign interaction;fourthly,to enhance the effectiveness of media participation in governance supervision and correction.
