Whole-Area Tourism In Wencheng County From The Perspective Of Government Management Research On Development Strateg

With the development of the economy and society,China’s tourism industry has gradually matured.Holistic tourism is an important measure for industrial transformation and upgrading,as well as an important trend and direction for the next stage of tourism development.In response to the upgrading of tourism consumption structure and the "holistic tourism" development strategy,Wencheng County has taken the lead in adapting to the development trend and transformed scenic spot tourism into holistic tourism,with ecological tourism as the leading industry.The development of regional tourism is a comprehensive project,and government departments need to rely on relevant theories to support it and formulate comprehensive plans through top-level design.In the process of developing holistic tourism,the government needs to fulfill corresponding functions,promote coordinated development of tourism and other industries,improve the quality of holistic tourism development,and promote regional economic development.This article mainly elaborates on the relevant concepts and theories of holistic tourism and the government’s functions in the development of holistic tourism.It combines domestic and international literature and research results,applies public management theories and government management research perspectives,and uses various research methods such as literature research,field research,questionnaire survey,and interview.It analyzes the current situation of the government’s function fulfillment in the development of holistic tourism in Wencheng County,including the government’s planning function to formulate holistic tourism goals,the government’s coordination function to promote the development of supporting industries,and the government’s management function to improve supporting infrastructure.Based on the survey results,the problems in the government’s functions in holistic tourism were identified,such as the ineffective implementation of government regulations,insufficient promotion of industry integration and collaboration,and weakness in providing public goods and services.Suggestions for optimizing the functions of Wencheng County government in holistic tourism were proposed,including strengthening overall planning,promoting the upgrading of scenic areas,improving coordination mechanisms,cultivating diverse tourism products,enhancing tourism infrastructure,and promoting innovative high-quality development.This can effectively promote the government’s role in holistic tourism,stimulate local economic development,and create a "Wencheng model" for holistic tourism.
