Xi Jinping’s Poverty Alleviation Thought And Practice Research In Jiangsu Province

Getting rid of poverty is the core issue of Marx’s human liberation and also one of the goals of the Chinese Communists.Xi Jinping’s poverty alleviation thought is not only the latest development of Marxism anti-poverty theory in China,but also the latest achievement based on the improvement of poverty alleviation theory by several generations of state leaders.The year 2021 will be the first year for China to embark on a new journey after winning the battle against poverty and building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.As a developed province,Jiangsu shoulders the historic mission of "leading by example,striving to be an example,and leading the way".This paper analyzes the poverty alleviation practice in Jiangsu and discusses how Jiangsu can use its advantages to reduce relative poverty and narrow the regional gap,so as to provide a mirror for helping realize the great Chinese dream.This paper traces back to the Marxist theory of poverty alleviation and the contributions made by the Chinese leaders in successive dynasties to the cause of poverty alleviation,analyzes and explains the strategic layout of Xi Jinping’s thought of poverty alleviation in the new period,and deeply analyzes the content of this thought.On this basis,this paper focuses on the practice of poverty alleviation in Jiangsu Province,understands the actual situation of Jiangsu Province through research,explores the problems existing in the practice of poverty alleviation in Jiangsu Province,summarizes the effective experience and puts forward relevant suggestions.According to the results of the research and analysis,and in combination with the specific practice of Xi Jinping’s poverty alleviation thought in Jiangsu Province,we can effectively link the strategy from poverty alleviation to rural revitalization.From the strategic height of rural revitalization,we should scientifically guide and plan poverty alleviation work and consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation research,and coordinate the two.
