Research On The Construction Of Security Team In Universities

Security is the core issue of human beings’ harmonious life and social stability and development.Colleges and universities are the bases for cultivating research and application talents,it is of great significance to maintain the safe environment of colleges and universities.As a department directly responsible for security in colleges and universities,the security team is not only a powerful umbrella for students to become talents,but also an important force to maintain social stability.Therefore,it is an important task for colleges and universities to correctly face and seriously solve at this stage to establish a college security team with excellent quality and style.In recent years,the CPC and the government,educational administrative department and the Party Committee of universities at all levels have gradually realized the importance of campus security team development in safety work,actively promoted the professional development of campus security team,and constantly strengthened the building of full-time campus security team,therefore the campus security and stability situation has achieved sustainable and harmonious development.As the planner,leader and implementer of the security work in colleges and universities,the security team is the "backbone force" and "powerful guard" to maintain the overall security in colleges and universities.However,with the increasingly frequent exchanges between countries in political systems,cultural thoughts and other aspects,colleges and universities have also been suffering from the multiple impacts of "world multipolarization,social informatization,and self opening".The security challenges that they face are diversified,and the difficulty of maintaining campus security and stability is gradually increasing,which causes higher requirements for the professional quality and ability of campus security teams.This study takes the building of security teams of colleges and universities in J City as an example,and systematically analyzes the current situation of the building of security teams of colleges and universities in J City.Based on the questionnaire of security guards of colleges and universities in J City,this paper introduces the basic situation of security teams of colleges and universities in J city from six aspects: gender,age,length of service,political status,education background and rank of security guards of colleges and universities in J City.According to the actual research method and literature reading method,the present problems are concluded from the aspects of organizational building,institutional building,personnel quality building and ideological style building.Then,through the summary and analysis of these problems,it’s found that the reasons for the above problems are mainly concentrated in the management of colleges and universities,government administration and social support.Finally,combined with the inspiration from the advanced experience of foreign developed countries,the paper puts forward solutions and suggestions on the building of security teams of colleges and universities at the above three levels.
