The postdoctoral community is the core force in the scientific research team in Chinese colleges and universities.It makes positive contributions to promoting scientific and technological innovation and accelerating the economic transformation,and plays an important role in accelerating the innovative development and the construction of first-rate universities and disciplines.Performance evaluation is an important guarantee for realizing strategic goals,improving management level and promoting long-term development of organizations.With the expansion of the recruitment scale of postdoctoral,more and more attention has been paid to the evaluation of the quality of postdoctoral training.Universities need to take on the main responsibility of postdoctoral training,improve the performance evaluation system of postdoctoral training,so as to improve the quality of postdoctoral training.This article explores the construction of a performance evaluation system for postdoctoral training in universities using the balanced scorecard method,and applies this system to the performance evaluation of postdoctoral training in J University.Firstly,the basic principles,content,and characteristics of the balanced scorecard were introduced in detail,which provides a theoretical basis for the construction of the performance evaluation index system.By analyzing the current situation of postdoctoral training performance evaluation at J University,this paper reveals the existing problems in the process of performance evaluation of postdoctoral training,and leads to the feasibility and necessity of using balanced scorecard to evaluate the performance of postdoctoral training.Secondly,it draws a strategy map around the strategic objectives of postdoctoral training in J University,and evaluation indicators were selected from the four dimensions of service objects,funding,internal management and achievement growth,builds a performance evaluation system of postdoctoral training based on balanced scorecard,and hierarchical analysis to assign indicators at all levels.Finally,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to comprehensively evaluate the actual performance of J University’s postdoctoral training in 2020 and 2021.The evaluation results were compared and analyzed,and suggestions were provided to improve the performance and quality of postdoctoral training under different dimensions at J University.The research in this paper has certain guiding significance for improving the performance evaluation system of postdoctoral training in colleges and universities,improving the quality of postdoctoral training and promoting the sustainable development of colleges and universities,and can also provide some reference for other colleges and universities to carry out the performance evaluation research of postdoctoral training and reform and development.
