With the rapid development of Internet technology,people’s daily life has become more and more networked.The Internet has become an important force to promote economic development and change human lifestyle,especially the 2015 Government Work Report in which Premier Li Keqiang proposed the Internet as the core,the combination of "Internet + catering"-network catering is growing like a spring in China and has become a new industry.Online catering services can adapt to the fast pace of modern life and meet the real needs of consumers.However,due to the unique nature of online catering and the loopholes and shortcomings of regulation,food safety risks lurk in it,making online catering a much-criticized issue.The traditional regulatory approach has failed to match the regulation of this new industry,and any poor supervision may lead to food safety accidents,harming consumers’ rights and interests,and also restricting the healthy development of online catering services.Based on this,this paper conducts an optimal study on the regulation of online catering food safety in Nanchong City,firstly defines the basic concepts of food safety regulation and online catering,takes market failure theory,information asymmetry theory and collaborative governance theory as the theoretical basis,adopts literature method,case study method,interview method and questionnaire survey method,etc.,and proposes an optimization strategy for improving the regulation of online catering food safety in Nanchong City.Strategy.This paper takes Nanchong city as an example,through research and analysis of online catering food safety supervision,it points out that there are problems such as low industry entry threshold,blind spots in the supervision process,lack of supervision by third-party platforms,and insufficient social supervision and participation power in the online catering service industry.In response to these problems,this paper proposes to strengthen the law enforcement supervision of government departments,clarify the main responsibility of third-party platforms,build a collaborative supervision system between social organizations and the public,and build a "wisdom supervision" system for online food safety,which will open up new paths for improving the optimization of online food safety in Nanchong City and help improve This will help improve the level of online food safety supervision by local governments.
