A Comparative Study Of Sismondi’s View Of Wealth And Marx’s View Of Wealth

Sismondi and Marx are petty bourgeoisie political economists and proletarian political economists respectively.Both of them have carried out in-depth research on the view of wealth,and their understanding and evaluation of wealth have had a profound impact on the political and economic development of human society.By comparing Sismondi’s view of wealth with Marx’s view of wealth,this paper sums up the connection and difference of the two views of wealth,and distinguishes the commonness and characteristics of the two views of wealth,so as to seek a scientific theoretical foundation for the construction of the view of wealth in the new era.Wealth appears with the emergence of human society,and also develops with the development of human society,and occupies an important position in human society.This is because wealth is not only the material basis for the prosperity and development of human society,but also an important factor driving the evolution of human society.For the first time,the British classical political and economic school included wealth into the category of political economy research.However,due to its historical and class limitations,the study of wealth category gradually deviated from human nature and reflected more and more exploitative attributes.In this regard,both Sismondi based on the petty bourgeoisie and Marx based on the proletariat deeply criticized the capitalist view of wealth proposed by the British classical political and economic school,and formed the view of wealth representing the interests of their own classes.Because of the subtle relationship between the petty bourgeoisie and the proletariat,there are some similarities between their views on wealth.However,the petty bourgeoisie represented by Sismondi is characterized by weakness and compromise,which makes his view of wealth deeply romantic.Although Marx did not write about wealth alone,his view of wealth brought about unprecedented changes in the history of economic thought.Marx’s view of wealth criticizes wealth under the logic of capital with the scientific labor theory of value as the core,thoroughly reveals the exploitative nature of capitalist wealth category,and aims to realize the liberation and free and comprehensive development of human beings,and puts forward the basic requirements and realization path for the development of social wealth in the future.By comparing Sismondi’s view of wealth with Marx’s view of wealth,we can not only explore the intrinsic value and unique significance of the two views respectively,but also further clarify the scientific and critical nature of Marx’s view of wealth,so as to better adhere to and develop Marx’s view of wealth in the construction of the new era.To add important ideological resources to the political and economic system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This paper uses the method of document interpretation and comparative analysis to extract the main content of wealth view from the classical works of Sismondi and Marx.It compares and analyzes the Sismondi view of wealth with Marx’s view of wealth from five aspects: the core theory of wealth creation,the subject of wealth creation,the consumption of wealth,the essence of spiritual wealth and the role of natural environment in wealth creation.At the same time,according to the development requirements of the new era,it puts forward the concept of wealth in the new era,which takes people as the center,harmonious coexistence between man and nature,and realization of spiritual wealth as the goal.By comparing Sismondi’s view of wealth with Marx’s view of wealth,we can explore the deep value and contemporary significance behind their theories of wealth view,so as to attract more scholars to explore and study the history of economic thought,and further give play to the due role of the history of economic thought in the process of perfecting the theoretical system of political economy of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
