Causative Factors Of Information Cocoon Research On Public Health Emergencies

In recent years,the occurrence of public health emergencies has made more and more scholars focus on this special emergency scenario,and information behavior studies have emerged in an endless stream based on this background.In the face of the information cocoon,many scholars also expressed concerns about the negative effects brought by the information cocoon,such as group polarization and information narrowing.However,in public health emergencies,the negative effects brought by the information cocoon will be further amplified,thus bringing obstacles to the management of public health emergencies.However,at present,few scholars have explored the causes of the information cocoon phenomenon and control the information cocoon phenomenon based on the causative factors of the information cocoon in public health emergencies.Therefore,based on previous studies,this paper explores the causes of information cocoon in public health emergencies,and proposes corresponding management suggestions,so as to provide convenience and reference for the management of information cocoon in future public health emergencies.Based on this,the research content of this paper mainly includes the following aspects:First,this paper collects the original data by semi-structured interview method,summarizes and condense the original data based on grounded theory and WSR methodology,and finally concludes that emotional characteristics,information attributes,social environment,platform environment,epidemic environment,the public,opinion leaders and official media are the factors that constitute the information cocoon in public health emergencies.The genetic model of information cocoon in public health emergencies is constructed by summarizing and integrating the relationship structure.Subsequently,based on the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis,this paper empirically demonstrates the genetic model of information cocoon in public health emergencies,and finally concludes two types of conditional configurations and five configurations,respectively: physical-rational-human factor-dominated conditional configurations.This type includes the following configurations: Emotional characteristics*～ platform environment * social environment *～ epidemic environment *～ public *official media * opinion leaders,information attributes * Emotional characteristics *platform environment * social environment * epidemic environment * public * official media ～ opinion leaders;Type 2 is the physical-human factors dominated conditional configuration,which includes the following configurations: Information attributes *Emotional characteristics *～ platform environment ～ epidemic environment * public *official media * Opinion leaders,information attributes * emotional characteristics *platform environment * social environment * public * official media * Opinion leaders,information attributes *～ emotional characteristics * platform environment * social environment * epidemic environment * public * official media * opinion leaders.Finally,this paper puts forward suggestions on breaking through the information cocoon in public health emergencies from the physical,operational and human levels,including strengthening the control of relevant information content and information channels in public health emergencies,improving social emotional care for the public,building a good platform environment and social environment in public health emergencies,and guiding and regulating different social subjects accordingly.It provides reference for managing the information cocoon of this type of event in the future.
