| Objective:A large number of studies have shown that the decline of cognitive function can predict the occurrence of Alzheimer’s disease.As a chronic progressive nervous system disease,Alzheimer’s disease has many risk factors.At present,the effect of drug treatment is limited,and early prevention is the main factor.Therefore,this thesis explored the positive effects of Roliball exercise on the cognitive function of the elderly through long-term intervention and puts forward feasible solutions for the decline of the cognitive function of the elderly in China.It provides more empirical evidence and theoretical basis for the intervention of cognitive function,and provides theoretical support for preventing the decline of cognitive function and improving the autonomous living ability and quality of life of the elderly.Method:Intervention experiment was used in this study.According to the purpose of the study,30 elderly people with normal cognition were recruited from Zhucheng City,Shandong Province,and randomly divided into the Roliball exercise intervention group and the control group at a ratio of 1:1,with 15 people in each group.The experiment set the Roliball exercise group for 12 weeks of Roliball exercise intervention,3 times a week,1 time each time,the intensity of exercise was moderate.The control group did not carry on any other items of regular exercise,maintain the original state of daily life.Through the data of subjective and objective indicators of cognitive function before and after intervention,the test results were statistically compared and analyzed to test the effect of Roliball exercise on the cognitive function of the elderly.Results:There were significant differences in the total score of MMSE scale and delayed recall(P<0.05),the total score of MOCA scale(P<0.05),and the instantaneous memory and short-term memory of Wechsler memory scale(P<0.05)in the elderly after 12 weeks of Roliball exercise intervention.The response time of completing Stroop task was significantly improved(P<0.05),and the correct rate of completing Stroop task was significantly improved(P<0.05).Conclusion:After 12 weeks’ intervention,the results showed that the Roliball exercise can improve the overall cognitive function,memory function,executive function and other sub-functions of the elderly.Roliball exercise can significantly improve the overall cognitive function of the elderly,and it can also significantly improve the instantaneous memory and short-term memory of the elderly memory function.It can significantly improve the accuracy and response time of executive inhibition.The results of this study suggest that rostrum exercise can be used as a means to improve the cognitive function and delay the decline rate of the elderly. |
