Objective:Executive function plays an important role in the study and life of primary school students,and is an important guarantee for children’s physical and mental health.How to effectively improve and promote the executive function of primary school students has become the frontier content of research in psychology and pedagogy.The purpose of this research is to use the basic movements of Chang quan to reveal the effect of the basic movements of Chang quan on the executive function of primary school students in 12 weeks,and to provide a new method for improving the executive function of primary school students.Method:By the way of selecting two natural classes as the objects of this study in Hope Primary School which locates in Enshi,Hubei province,and divide these two classes into experimental intervention group and experimental control group.The intervention group operates moderate intensity of some basic actions for Long Boxing which lasts about 12 weeks in total and twice every week and sustains 40 minutes each time.The control class,however,doing their PE class routinely.All the objects are being tested their own executive function at the beginning and ending of the experiment.Using Flanker,2-back and More odd shifting respectively to test the inhibiting ability,updating ability and switching ability of the objects.The testing of relevant executive function is being operated at the beginning and ending of the experiment.Result:(1)After 12 weeks of experimental intervention in the basic movements of Chang quan,P=0.03<0.05 between the overall executive function of the experimental group and the control group,indicating that there is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group.The basic movements of Chang quan are compared with the conventional ones.Physical education can better promote children’s executive function;(2)After 12 weeks of medium-intensity Chang quan basic movement intervention,the comparison between the experimental groups is as follows:in completing the Franker task,the response time P=0.04<0.05,which has a significant difference;Correct rate P=0.09>0.05,no significant difference;In the completion of the 2-back task measurement:P=0.01<0.05 at the time of response,a significant difference;Correct rate P=0.008<0.05,a significant difference;in In completing the More odd shifting task:P=0.002<0.05 during reaction,which has a significant difference;the accuracy rate P=0.000<0.05,which is a very significant difference,indicating that the basic movements of Chang quan can inhibit children’s executive function,refresh function,The conversion function has a promoting effect;(3)The comparison between the experimental group and the control group after the 12-week medium-intensity Chang quan basic movement experiment intervention is as follows:P=0.29>0.05 in the test of inhibition function,no significant The difference indicates that there is no significant difference between the basic movements of Chang quan and conventional physical education in the impact on children’s executive function;P=0.015<0.05 in the test of refresh function,which means that the basic movements of Chang quan are more than conventional sports.Class has a more significant impact on the refreshing function of children’s executive function;P=0.015<0.05 in the test of conversion function,there is a significant difference,indicating that the basic movements of Chang quan have improved the conversion function of children’s executive function compared with conventional physical education.Conclusion:The moderate intensity of some basic actions of Long Boxing which lasts about 12 weeks can improve the executive function greatly and obviously.It can also have the improvement for restraining inhibiting function.Therefore,it is a effective intervening measure to improve the children’s executive function by exercising the basic movements of Chang quan.
