| The healthy growth of adolescents is related to the future of the nation and the well-being of hundreds of millions of families.Improving the health behavior of adolescents is of great significance to the adolescents themselves and the society.The first step to understand the health status of adolescents is to obtain rich and accurate data that represents adolescents’ health behaviors.A feasible way to measure health behaviors is to use self-report questionnaires.At present,our country still lacks a set of reliable and effective questionnaires in the field of health behavior measurement of junior high school students,which makes it difficult to carry out large-scale surveys on the health behaviors of junior high school students.This study aims to develop the health behavior questionnaires of junior high school students,to fill up the gaps in related fields,providing basis for the development and practice of health promotion research for junior high school students in the future.First,with the help of literature method and interview method,the primary selection measurement pool of the junior high school students ’health behavior questionnaire was constructed.And then,10 experts in related fields were invited.After two rounds of Delphi expert letter inquiries,the items in the primary selection measurement pool were screened and revised based on expert opinions.Then the final measurement pool of the health behavior questionnaire for junior high school students was formed.On this basis,pre-survey questionnaires were issued to 450 junior high school students,and items were screened with the help of item analysis、exploratory factor analysis and reliability testing methods.As the result,an initial health behavior questionnaire for junior high school students was formed.The initial questionnaire was conducted on 1350 junior high school students in Hubei Province.The method of and confirmatory factor analysis were adopted to evaluate the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.By then,a formal health behavior questionnaire for junior high school students was formed.After analyzing the official survey data and discussing the current status of the health behavior of junior high school students in Hubei Province.The main conclusions obtained are as follows:1.Compile a health behavior questionnaire for junior high school students.The questionnaire contains three dimensions of physical health,mental health,and social adaptation.It contains of 20 questions.The physical health dimension contains 8 questions,the mental health dimension contains 8 questions,and the social adaptation dimension contains 4 questions.2.The self-compiled health behavior questionnaire for junior high school students has good reliability and validity.The exploratory factor analysis results show that the questionnaire is completely consistent with the three previously designed dimensions of physical health,mental health,and social adaptation.The confirmatory factor analysis results show that the overall coefficient of fitness is well adapted,with good aggregate validity and discriminative validity.The questionnaire can be used as a reference for the follow-up study of the health behavior of junior high school students.3.At present,the overall level of the current health behavior of junior high school students is good.According to the scores of the health behavior questionnaire,social adaptation is better than mental health and better than physical health in the three dimensions of health behavior.The level of healthy behavior of boys in junior high school is better than that of girls junior high school,and the level of healthy behavior of eighth grade students is better than that of seventh grade students and better than that of ninth grade students.To sum up,this study initially developed a junior high school students’ health behavior questionnaire with three dimensions and a total of 20 topics.After testing,the questionnaire has good reliability and validity. |
