| Mathematics learning difficulties are one of the common learning difficulties of school-age children.Mathematics is also one of the first learning areas where children experience academic failure.Early childhood mathematics learning difficulties often have a negative cumulative effect, that is,over time,The distance between their development level and their peers is getting larger and larger, which leads to future academic failures. This kind of early negative experience affects their interest, attitude and ability in mathematics learning from the early stage of school, and it is too late to pay attention to them after elementary school, that is,the earlier you discover children’s mathematics learning difficulties, the more effectively they can help them. The New Zealand "learning story" evaluation system is an evaluation to support children’s further learning. It is not an evaluation of learning results. It is formative and focuses on children’s learning process. It can help children build capable learners. The image of children stimulates children’s interest in learning mathematics, enhances the internal driving force of children’s learning, and enables children to improve their mathematics ability and develop comprehensively. Therefore, this research mainly explores whether the narrative evaluation method of "learning story" can effectively promote the development of mathematics ability of children with mathematics learning difficulties, and summarizes and improves children’s mathematics learning difficulties based on the practical process and uses "learning stories" to improve children’s mathematics learning Difficult related suggestions. This research uses methods such as observation, interview, literature research and quasi-experimental research.Based on the observation and measurement of children, understand the development of the five dimensions of "numerical knowledge and skills","written number symbol representation","cardinal concept","quantity comparison",and "addition and subtraction" in children’s mathematical ability level Basic situation, using "learning stories" to help children build up images of capable learners, stimulate children’s perception and interest in mathematics problems in life and games, enhance children’s self-confidence in mathematics, improve their internal driving force for learning and growth, and promote them the level of mathematical ability continues to improve. This study selected a public kindergarten in Chengdu,Sichuan Province with 40 years of school experience.According to the pre-observation,math ability level and intellectual development level test results of 80 children in the big class,8 children were selected as the research objects.Based on the principle of homogeneity, the selected 8 children were divided into the experimental group and the control group.4 children each.Then,4 children in the experimental group were subjected to "learning stories" practical intervention, while the control group remained in the original normal state. Finally, after the implementation of the practical intervention, the experimental group and the control group were tested on their mathematical ability.According to the analysis of the research results, after comparing the experimental group and the control group, there are extremely significant differences in the total scores of "counting knowledge and skills","base concept" and mathematics ability. The experimental group is better than the control group. The experimental group had a significant improvement in the total scores of "counting knowledge and skills","base number concept","quantity comparison","addition and subtraction calculation",and mathematics ability. There was no significant difference between the control group before and after the test. The conclusion of the study is that "learning stories" can effectively promote the improvement of mathematics ability of children with mathematics learning difficulties. In response to the research situation, educational suggestions for improving children’s mathematics learning difficulties and using "learning stories" to improve children’s mathematics learning difficulties are put forward.Three educational suggestions for improving children’s difficulties in mathematics are to meet the needs of children’s independent development of mathematics;believe in children’s independent learning ability in mathematics;Three educational suggestions for using "learning stories" to improve children’s learning difficulties in mathematics are: adhere to observation and capture;flexible support and intervention;and joint home exchange and interaction. |
