| Based on the intonation pattern and the method of acoustic experiment, this paper’s research object is Italian high school students, and investigates them acquisition of intonation in the Yes-No Question Sentence with Mandarin Character ’Ba’ from three aspects:pitch, length and intensity.By comparing with Chinese students, this paper finds out the acquisition characteristics of Italian learners and puts forward some suggestions on the teaching of intonation accordingly. This article has seven parts. The introduction part describes the research background, purpose and significance, methods and framework of this article. The first chapter is summary. The research on the study of Chinese intonation acquisition and Chines Yes-No Question Sentence are summarized. The definition of intonation and the current status of research on Chinese intonation acquisition and the research results of Chinese Yes-No Question Sentence are introduced. The second chapter is a comparative experimental analysis of Chinese intonation pitch between Chinese students and Italian students.Specifically,it includes the analysis of the pitch span of the two countries students and the analysis of the fluctuation degree of the Yes-No Question Sentence with Mandarin Character ’Ba’.Experiments show that the overall tuning range of Italian learners is wide and the fluctuation pattern of the tuning range is uncertain. The third chapter is a comparative experimental analysis of the tone length of Chinese students as well as Italian students.Specifically,it includes the performance of the stall rate and the comparison of the stall rate of the Yes-No Question Sentence with Mandarin Character ’Ba’ between the students of the two countries.Experiments show that Italian learners have a good grasp of the syllable duration of modal particles at the end of a sentence, but the position of the sound length is not fixed, and the amplitude change is slightly larger than that of Chinese students. The fourth chapter is a comparative experimental analysis of Chinese students’ Chinese intonation intensity as well as Italian students.Specifically,it includes the volume ratio performance and the comparison of the volume ratio of the Yes-No Question Sentence with Mandarin Character ’Ba’ between the students of the two countries.Experiments show that Italian learners have a poor grasp of the maximum and minimum positions, and the distribution pattern of various prosodic words fluctuates. The fifth chapter obtains evidence through experiments, and systematically summarize the types and reasons of errors in acquiring intonation Italian learners in the Yes-No Question Sentence with Mandarin Character ’Ba’,as well as put forward teaching suggestions against errors.Specifically,it includes four overall suggestions of strengthening the awareness of intonation teaching, innovating intonation teaching methods, reasonably arranging the teaching content and correctly handling the teaching relationship,as well as three suggestions of intonation measurement standards, namely paying attention to the teaching of three tone mark, cultivating students’ sense of language and strengthening listening training. The conclusion part summarizes the performance of Italian learners’ acquisition of the Yes-No Question Sentence with Mandarin Character ’Ba’,as well as the innovations and shortcomings of this paper. |
