competitive sports in colleges and universities in our country,and at the same time,strengthen the training of reserve talents in competitive sports,improve the physical quality of our teenagers,and cultivate more excellent sports talents with all-round development of physique,skills and intelligence for the society,and the main problem for the high level sports inuniversities teams is how to improve and develop sustainably.This paper mainly uses the SWOT-PEST analysis method to analyze the factors s affecting the development of the Yanbian University Taekwondo Poomse Team;proposes an effective development plan according to different factors,and hopes to provide suggestions for the development of Yanbian University and the Taekwondo Poomse Sports Team.Using SWOT-PEST analysis method,literature method,field investigation method,interview method and logical analysis method,combined with the policy,economic,social and technical environment related to the sports team,analyze the The strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats encountered by sports teams,get conclusions as following:1.Sports team has obtained excellent achievements and national policy support,stable team training facilities and funds investment,perfecting the management system of the sports team,first-class coaching team,as well as the school for potential project publicity associated to such factors as the support,these factors to Yanbian university Taekwondo Poomse team provides favorable development condition.2.The technical improvement of Yanbian University Taekwondo Poomse teams is affected by the limited selection of athletes,the lack of updating of training equipment,the great influence of winter temperature and the difficulty of transferring athletes to improve their skills.These factors limit the improvement of the level and quality of sports teams to a certain extent.3.Yanbian University Taekwondo Poomse teams have the opportunities of strengthened school sports policies and regulations,preferential support from the state to the investment of higher education funds in northeast China,the rise of Taekwondo Poomse sports events,and increased competition and exchange opportunities in 2022.These development trends can improve the development of sports teams together.4.Currently,school taekwondo publicity activities,normal training and sports exchanges of sports teams have been affected by the epidemic,which has seriously affected the development of sports teams.5.The development status of Yanbian University Taekwondo Poomse Team is the result of a variety of factors.The main path for the development of sports teams is to make use of advantages and opportunities to overcome disadvantages,avoid threats and realize the combination of advantages and opportunities.Recommendations:1.The whole team has a good external environment and their own advantages,maximum use of its advantages and resources combined with external development opportunities,national and local colleges and universities sports policy oriented,continue to conduct Taekwondo product potential sports teams;Create a good atmosphere for Taekwondo sports in school and optimize the Taekwondo Poomse sports environment;Increase sports exchange activities outside school,improve the technical level and quality of sports teams.2.Opportunities can be used to reduce the influence caused by disadvantages.The disadvantages that affect the development of Yanbian University Taekwondo Poomse Team mainly include limited selection of athletes,high probability of sports injury and difficulty in improving skills of athletes.Taking advantage of development opportunities,sports teams can renew training equipment to reduce sports injuries,make full use of the rise of Taekwondo Poomse events and increased competition exchanges,encourage sports teams to participate in sports exchanges,attract more outstanding reserve talents,improve the number and quality of reserve talents of sports teams.3.In the case of threats should use their own advantages to reduce external threats.The pandemic has had a serious impact on the training and competition of sports teams and the improvement of their skills.Yanbian University has taken immediate prevention and control measures to minimize the spread of the disease on campus and minimize the risk.The coaching team can work
