With the rapid development of the times, the living standards of modern residents have changed. The lack of exercise of the broad masses of the people has become a social problem. The issuance of the national fitness plan outline and the healthy China2030 plan outline is a strategic measure taken by the state on this issue.Family is not only the daughter cell of society, but also one of the most important scenes and environments for teenagers’ growth, which directly affects teenagers’ Three Outlooks and attitude towards problems. How to effectively make family sports play a role in promoting adolescent sports health needs to be further explored. In view of the above reasons, supported by the theory of planned behavior, through the research on the family sports behavior of junior middle school students in Kunming, this paper puts forward relevant suggestions to promote the development of family sports of junior middle school students in Kunming,in order to provide some reference for the development of family sports and the improvement of teenagers’ health in Kunming.Based on the theory of planned behavior, the research results show that the family sports atmosphere of junior middle school students in Kunming is generally good, and parents pay more attention to their children’s participation in physical exercise, but they have not formed good sports habits. The frequency of family sports activities is low,and sports consumption focuses on physical consumption.Family sports behavior attitude, subjective norms of family sports behavior and perceived behavior control of family sports will have a positive impact on family sports behavior intention, and then promote the occurrence of family sports behavior of junior middle school students in Kunming.Among them, the influence from behavior attitude is the deepest, followed by subjective norms, and the influence from perceived behavior control is the lowest.Through the methods of literature, questionnaire and mathematical statistics, this paper puts forward and verifies the hypothesis, and finally comes to the following conclusions:(1)There is a significant positive impact between the three factors of family sports behavior attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavior control of junior middle school students in Kunming and the behavior intention of individual participation in family sports.Among them, behavior attitude is the key variable affecting behavior intention, that is,the willingness of junior middle school students in Kunming to participate in family sports activities will be affected by their own cognition and tendency to participate in family sports behavior; The second influencing factor is subjective norms, that is,the opinions from important people and groups around them will also have a certain impact on the family sports behavior intention of junior middle school students in Kunming. Finally, the lowest influencing factor is perceived behavior control. The willingness of junior middle school students in Kunming to carry out family sports activities will be affected by the difficulties they think they will face when carrying out the behavior and the constraints of their own conditions. The influence degree is lower than the first two factors, but it can not be ignored.Behavior intention and perceived behavior control will have a direct impact on specific behavior to a certain extent. Therefore,in the process of promoting the development of family sports behavior of junior middle school students in Kunming, the impact of this aspect should be considered.(2)The theory of planned behavior can explain the intention and mechanism of family sports behavior of junior middle school students in Kunming.Based on the theory of planned behavior, this paper introduces the theory of planned behavior into the research of family sports for the first time, and organically combines the two.The data of the regression model of family sports behavior of junior middle school students in Kunming Based on the theory of planned behavior are within the required range, and the model can be accepted. It can be seen that there is a good fit between the research data and the initial theoretical assumptions of this paper. Thus, the theory of planned behavior can effectively explain the internal mechanism and path of family sports behavior of junior middle school students in Kunming. The combination of these two different research areas is a more effective supplement to the research fields of both sides.According to the research results, behavior attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control and behavior intention can be regarded as the factors affecting the family sports behavior of junior middle school students in Kunming.Based on these three aspects, the following suggestions are put forward: from the family perspective:(1)change ideas and pay attention to the significance of family sports;(2)create an atmosphere and deepen the development of family sports;(3)increase family sports investment and provide a good family sports environment;(4)Pay attention to individual differences and improve sports emotional experience;(5)Build family sports events and give full play to individual subjective initiative. From a social perspective:(1)strengthen publicity and education, advocate national fitness and pay attention to family physical education;(2)school,family and community are linked and parallel to form a social environment to promote family sports;(3)improve the setting of community sports facilities and provide space and conditions for family physical exercise;(4)Reduce the academic pressure of teenagers and improve the dominant position of sports.;(5)Make use of traditional sports culture to build a unique style of family sports.
