Micro-Course is a short,concise and visual digital learning resource,which can stimulate students’interest in learning and enrich their learning methods.Task-driven teaching mode means that teachers design and present tasks,then students complete those tasks independently.Meanwhile,teachers will offer some tips and instructions when it is necessary.The task-driven teaching model is in line with the teaching concept of "quality-based" in the new curriculum standard.During the process,it focuses on tasks itself,taking students as the main body to achieve teaching goals.When students complete tasks,they can actively construct knowledge as well.The task-driven teaching model based on micro-course uses the advantages of micro-course to ensure that tasks are completed timely and smoothly.Both micro-course and task-driven teaching model are complementary,Which can improve students’ learning ability and interest in learning,then promote their thinking ability,so that each student’s core ability of chemistry has been developed individually and creatively.With document analysis,this study summarized the research status of task-driven teaching mode and micro-course at home and abroad,deeply studying some related concepts,analyzing the relevance of some theories to ensure the value of this research,which includes motivation theory,learning pyramid theory,constructivism,etc.Before the research,with teacher interviews and questionnaires,as well as the current situation of students’ chemistry learning,the necessity of combining micro-course and task-driven teaching mode is further affirmed,Then,according to the principles of design,application and combination of micro-course and tasks,the process of task-driven teaching mode based on micro-course is constructed.Firstly,clarify teaching objectives and design tasks;Secondly,analyze the implementation and make micro-course;Thirdly,improve teaching design based on the real class;Besides,make an anticipation of teaching efficiency before class;Lastly,reflect and make a conclusion.After all those steps,The overall practice process is summarized.three class hours of Methods and Procedures for Studying the Properties of Matter,a compulsory course in high school chemistry in Luke edition,are selected as teaching cases.The effect of the implementation is comprehensively evaluated through changes in students’ grades,changes in chemistry learning conditions,classroom observations,and teacher interviews.The results show that the task driven teaching model based on micro courses has a certain effect on the improvement of students’ academic performance,especially for students in middle and higher grades;In terms of students’ chemistry learning status,the task driven teaching mode based on micro course can effectively promote the development of students in the two dimensions of "Curriculum Participation and display" and "learning ability and thinking development.To a certain extent,the implementation of the task driven teaching mode based on Micro Courses can improve students’core quality and the capability of learning Chemistry,promoting students’ lifelong learning and sustainable development.
